Hooked on Glenferrie Road is a great fish and chip shop! Great menu which has good kids and glute free options. The food here is very consistent and good. Nice flavours, great serving sizes, you won't be disappointed. Staff are friendly and service is quick too. Good options to sit inside or out front. Never disappoints here for great fish and chips

A very affordable lunch option. Their $11.95 lunch special is a great deal with various selections. I went with the fish burger with chips and was overall happy with it. Only slight criticism was I think it lacked a little flavour and didn’t see much tartare sauce in mine.Most diners went with the grenadier with rice and salad/chips… seems like their best seller.

Good fish and chips however they need to employ some experienced staff to cater for busy lunch hours. I waited longer than I should have and was charged $33.05 for this meal by the cashier. Bit of common sense and observation needed for improvement. Happy to come back and give it another go.

Love this decor in the heart of Glenferrie road . The fried fish Flake and large Vietnamese coleslaw , it is something different from most and fish and chippery places. Hooray, they Had a low carb option for those who want it . The fish is a tad over cooked by perhaps 10 seconds. But overall most happy and will return . Nice serving size .

This has to be the most inconsistent restaurant I’ve been to in my life. Some days the service and food is just satisfactory, but majority of the days it is the most below par food and service I’ve ever experienced. The food is either too salty or unsalted, undercooked or overcooked, like it’s ridiculous and embarrassing. The chips are consistently horrible, if you eat a small chips you’ll need a gallon of water. Even if you ask the chef to not put salt, the chips still manage to be salty and greasy. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone just go to any other restaurant.

I ordered a barramundi and a green bean and vegetable salad on uber eats. When I got the order, the fish was like rubber, I don't think it was barramundi and the salad was a small garden salad that looked like it was 3 days old. I will not be ordering again.

Love a great fish and chips meal! The Asian salad was so amazing though. Fish cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside! Will be back!
