Gold Coast Fire Door Services

In our experience with Gold Coast Fire Doors we have found them to be professional, prompt and fairly priced. Their understanding of the Australian Standards and the acceptable methods of rectifying defects is exceptional.

This company was temporarily employed by the Body Corporate of the building in which I own an apartment. They were set to update all fire doors in the complex. As I knew my dead lock was not fire compliant I set out prior to the date of service of my door to purchase the correct lock, which was cited by 2 independent fire authority representatives. During the day of repair, the contractors said to me the lock I had purchased was not actually fire safe and thus not compliant with law. I was then left with no other choice but to purchase one direct from them for a ridiculous price. To add insult to injury - the lock they installed was an exact carbon copy of the one I had purchased. I am not specifically looking for any refunds of any kind, although it would be nice to have this issue noticed and/or rectified. This is just a note to other potential individual customers or Body Corporate's to consider NOT using this company as they are nothing short of thieves, with shady practices. Absolutely disgusting people with abhorrent behaviour.
