New Lyric Theatre

The New Lyric theatre is one of the biggest and best fully community run theatres in WA. The New Lyric Theatre has many high class directors and a huge community of fantastic actors. There's always something on and despite only being a small community theatre the quality of production is always fantastic and an overall fun experience. One of the New Lyric theatres directors and current president is Maureen Eaton who was an actor, director and and casting director on Broadway. Evidence of the fantastic quality of the New Lyric Theatre. Ticket prices recently for these shows has been rising due to the lack of support for theatre and choosing the Lyric theatre for entertainment is a great way of keeping industry alive and encourageing the community. On top of all this the New Lyric Theatre provides a fantastic venue for hire service as well as housing a top dance school on the top floor.

The ballet studio is fine and adult ballet lessons with Nicole Kozetsky are amazing . So much attention to detail . $20 for two hours unbelievable. I love this old building also.
