I can not recommend Ian and the team at Horizon Funerals highly enough. Ian is professional, understanding, patient and caring. When my father passed away recently, we were lost and heartbroken. We did a google search on local funeral directors and found Horizon Funerals. We phoned and spoke to Ian who came out to our home that afternoon. He chatted with us for a bit to get a better understanding about Dad and helped us plan a service Dad would have loved. My experience with HORIZON Funerals was positive. My thanks to Ian and staff for making a stressful period more tolerable. My family and myself were very pleased with the celebration of my husband and fathers life. Ian was spot on with advice and indeed actions.

Ian has an innate caring nature which made the unexpected passing of my mum a little less difficult. He was always available to answer any question I had, no matter how banal. During such a terrible time of loss, you could not have a more empathetic, competent or helpful person by your side. Ian certainly has my full recommendation.

Our family would sincerely like to thank Ian and Carol Brownlie and all the Horizon staff for their outstanding service in guiding us through the emotional Rolla coaster of planning a funeral. At a time when you are feeling the most lost and sad, trying to cope with the death of one of your family you need people you can trust. The Brownlies’ are those people.Both Ian and Carol showed empathy caring and understanding, they provided gentle counsel offered advice and suggestions ensuring the celebration of dad’s life was handled with respect. Once the personal decisions regarding the funeral were made both Ian and Carol ensured all the arrangements went to plan and official paperwork was completed, one less thing we had to worry about.We were so pleased with the quality of the beautiful personalized coffin we selected for dad that we enquired about a small memorial box of the same design as a lasting memorial of our beloved father and husband. Just thought that I would share another review. My family and I feel so privileged and honoured in having Ian officiate 3 funerals for us. Ian was very sympathetic and nothing was too much trouble. Ian went out of his way to help us get through such a very difficult time. My fathers funeral was so beautiful and watching it back on the DVD is wonderful. Thank you again Ian!

I had brought my sisters ashes from New South Wales to be spread in our hometown in Queensland. I went to Horizon funerals in Caboolture and Melissa.helped me pick a mini urn for my son to keep some ashes. She offered to put the ashes into the mini urn for me free of charge. I was so grateful for the service. She was very empathetic, gentle and non condescending (which I found the NSW service to be) and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Well done Melissa ❤️

Horizon FuneralsWe have used Horizon Funerals on two sad occasions. We found Ian Brownlie and his staff to be Professional, helpful and compassionate . The price was very reasonable.We made several last minute changes to the service order and the order booklet . Because they do the printing themselves there was no problem having photos changed and the service order changed, all done without hesitation and a smile. The Service was performed with Compassion and dignity, Ian was extremely helpful before and after the Service and nothing was too much trouble for them , They made a sad situation into a bearable, dignified experience,We would not hesitate in recommending Horizon funerals to any one who wants to have the same memorable experience that we had, Thank you Ian,sincerely Sharlene and Mark Anderson, Whiteside
