Paul is extremely knowledgable and humble. I've been with him a few times and recommended him to many people all of which cannot stop raving how good he is. In the few times going with him I've learnt more than 20 years of fishing. He answered all my questions and put us onto some very decent fish. Every time. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Anyone visiting port Stephen's MUST go out with him whether you are a begginer or very experienced you will definitely take something from the day. Thanks again Paul cant wait to come again!!!!!

Fish Port Stephens Estuary Charters
My dad and I had an epic day out with Paul. We caught live squid, trolled for Kings around the break wall (hooked up but got broken off) and threw out stickbaits. We then went across the bay and targeted Flattys. Paul’s expertise paid off as he showed us the proper technique to flick plastics and we managed to land 10 legal Flattys with 3 more chucked back! We also tried some Whiting fishing with worms but couldn’t land a fish. Paul kept fishing for another 2 hours beyond our internal 5 hour charter. He is an awesome charter captain and I’ll be back again! Thank you Paul!

We recently with out with Paul and had a fantastic time. We managed to land 2 large jewfish and loads of smaller ones in addition to bonito, flatties and bream. He runs a tight ship and is excellent company. I'll definitely be booking another trip with him and would highly recommend.

Paul took my father and I flatty fishing the other day and it was absolutely Brilliant!!Paul has an amazing knowledge of fishing, and most importantly, the local waterways.Paul knows where the fish hold and he put us on the action time and again. I expected a good day’s fishing and ended up getting that and much much more... Paul was a real professional and his patience teaching us the ropes was greatly appreciated. He had an incredible insight into the Port Stephens waterways and sustainability of marine life. He knew where the fish were and more importantly how we could set up best to catch them. We kept some fish ( including a great jewfish and flathead ) and released others. Apart from the fishing, the information on the local abundant wildlife and seeing incredibly panoramic views made our day. We will be back... thanks Paul a brilliant day.

My nine year old son and I went out with Paul a few weeks ago. We had a great morning - Paul knew exactly where to go, we caught fish To take home and cook and had a great time. Paul was patient with my son, we learned loads about fishing and the area.Highly recommended if you want a great fishing experience without going out miles to sea.
