Charming service and an extensive menu make this an easy place for anyone to find a meal they will enjoy. The food is well cooked: lots of flavour and variety, chicken was tender and light. The desserts are lovely - and we tried them all via the share plate.Nice to find some Greek wines on the list too; they work so well with the food.

Beautiful authentic Greek food 100%But service felt pushy and not welcoming, I had felt judged but the waitress, very rude nature, asked for coffee and she told me to wait till my food was served?????? What kind of hospitality tells you when to order and not to order disgraceful service, get her out from front of house put a friendly person there.

Disappointing, had heard good things about this restaurant in the past but perhaps it has changed owners. Had the banquet for $59 each. Food was not fresh, everything tasted store bought and/or reheated and reused from a previous shift. The garnish salad was visibly decomposing. Good Greek food is the epitome of freshness so quite disappointing. Could have had a much better dinner for a lot less somewhere else.

We attended Remvi for dinner early on a Saturday evening. The experience did not start well as we waited for about five minutes to be attended though the place was not busy. We were finally prompted to a table by the window where we discovered the next issue. The restaurants table layout is terrible. The tables are so close together you are basically sitting right next to the patrons on the next table. You can overhear their conversations, they can hear yours and you are almost sharing their meal. Order taking was simple and staff followed up at intervals to see if we were ready to order. As with many restaurants, we chose the banquet as you get to experience a bit of everything and this is where Remvi excels. The banquets are superb. The prices are excellent and we would go as far as saying that they are the best, quantity and flavour wise, that we have ever had. However, now we get back to customer service. It seems that after you get your main platter, the staff disappear thinking that they have some spare time on their hands while you chow down. It took a good twenty minutes to get the attention of a staff member to request another jug of water. After a wait of ten minutes, the jug had still not arrived and that particular staff member had disappeared. We finally got the attention of another staff member who promptly provided the water. After receiving the sweets platter from another staff member who had just started her shift and was by far the friendliest of them all, we were then provided the bill which was paid with ease at the rear counter. It wasn't until I went to use the facilities before leaving that I realised how devoid of a Greek identity the restaurant had. There were very minimal furnishing showing any signs of a Greek personality except for some pictures on the walls. In contrast, walking down the back hallway to the facilities, the walls were painted bright royal blue and also had pictures on the walls which I guessed was maybe how the restaurant used to be decorated before a more clean modern approach was adopted in the main dining area. The last thing to note is that the facilities are very dated, as is the original building, and don't appear to have ever been upgraded. The mens single urinal is surrounded by a strangely placed tiled wall which limits access to larger men who will be forced to use the single toilet. Remvi has a few pros going for it but overall more cons. If it wasn't for the superb food there might not be a good reason to ever go back. Staffing wise, we may have just been there on a bad evening, however it seemed that the staff were not very organised and didn't have designated tables to service which might have helped on a more personal level. We will probably go back to Remvi in the future just to see whether the experience is any different.

Went on Boxing Day. Outside the restaurant seating were busy, but inside looked empty. The place looks big and there is upstairs too.We sat outside but it took a while for them to take our order. Outside has nice feel, although you can’t see the sea because of a building across the street. Tried their grilled squid and my husband tried their mix gyros (chicken and lamb). I really enjoyed the grilled squid, it was marinaded so nicely and cooked well and tender. I got roast potato which was not the best I have had, I wish I could have chips instead. The capsicum dip that came with it was very nice. Salad was dressed nicely. Tried a little bit of the gyros, lamb was nice but chicken was pretty bland. I definitely prefer the grilled squid, and they were generous with the squid amount. Hot chocolate was nice too. Unfortunately my husband didnt feel well after his meal, so I don’t know if there was hygiene issue but I was fine. Overall good place to eat in Williamstown.

Greek cuisine that is deliciously authentic! This eatery is incredible. Freshness and quality explode from the flavours. The gyros must be sampled, as they are tender and perfectly seasoned. Simply divine is the tzatziki. Staff members and the atmosphere contribute to the overall experience. Strongly advised!

Quite tasty food and good service, but a bit pricey for the serving size, and with teeny tiny salads on the side. It was about $120 for 1 beer, 2 entree and 2 main.Would recommend the haloumi as a starter though - delicious!
