Wooditjup National Park
National park containing walking trails and easy access to mountain bike trails.Trails are well sign posted and easy to navigate. Bring enough water and food if you are planning to be out riding the trails all day. There are no public toilets onsite. The nearest toilets are located at Rotary Park.

There is a small unsealed car park at the starting point of the trails. There are no clear signages at the start and can be confusing. However, 10 minutes or so into the walk and after crossing the second bridge there are signs displayed at the track to the right of the bridge. We followed the Chimney trail (pink colour) which was an easy and lovely hour’s walk that went uphill for a while, and then meandered down a valley sheltered by a canopy of tall trees. At the bottom of the valley, just follow the sign to the car park and don’t change direction when you see a sign pointing at the opposite direction 30 metres down. That sign is for people doing the trail starting from the opposite end.

Nothing much to see except for a quiet stroll, taking in the fresh air. Saw a few wild birds. One of the bridge stated max 3 person but the notice was only placed on the other side after we hv crossed!!!! Moreover, instead of 3 persons, gross weight would be far more accurate? Like people are of different weight, and also may hv backpack on them?

Splendid trails through the woods. You will encounter numerous large trees including a few that have fallen over and are now becoming part of the forest floor. Great place to wander and connect with nature.

I could not find a toilet block on this park. Might not be accessible to rugged wheelchair. Car park and signage are well maintained.

Great place for a walk alone or with your pooch / loved ones across the weir and through what feels like the thick of the forest, but only a short stroll from the carpark - if wanting to be secluded you won’t be, you will pass a number of people who are also enjoying the stroll.
