We had a simply wonderful long weekend glamping at Bellwether winery. Sue is an absolute force of nature and an amazing host. The camp kitchen has everything you need (once you find it !), the fresh eggs and homemade bread each morning are a delight and the gorgeous highland cows, Mabel and Lolly the dogs, sheep and birds everywhere made our stay - as if we were as one with nature. The tent is warm but comes with a portable gas heater just in case - we just sat by the campfire each night and crashed. Loved it and highly recommend it for camping friendly folk

Loved camping here! Natasha was so welcoming and friendly. We are very grateful that she shared so much local knowledge with us. This is a very special place and we can't wait to come back!

We stopped by for a quick wine tasting because we heard this place was quite quirky.. and it was! We were warmly greeted by the cute puppy into a cosy space, filled with eccentric mix of decor and barrels with relaxing jazz playing in the background. Perfect spot to enjoy some wine. We walked away with a Temperinillo. Thank you.

We visited Bellwether last year and loved the shearing shed cellar door, the wines, the garden and the ethos of the place. Then we saw the glamping tents and knew that we had to come stay. The tents are really comfortable. Not powered but they provide lanterns, little gas heaters and hot water bottles. You can charge things in the bathrooms and cellar door. Breakfast is provided each morning - house made bread and fresh eggs and you can help yourself to the produce in the garden. We also ordered a camp oven which was partly cooked and then we finished it off over the fire in the camp kitchen that they left blazing for us. The camp kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you'll need - microwave, kettle, fridge, toaster, gas stove and oven, bbq and the fire. The toilets and showers are clean and plentiful and there us even a claw foot bath. There is a toilet and shower with wheelchair access. The surroundings are gorgeous. Every evening the sheep come and graze around the tents! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to others.

Such an awesome experience! Great range of wines, different varietals and a couple of cows to feed which was an awesome added bonus! Plus a doggo that loves lots of pats ☺️

What a fantastic place to bring the family when traveling, we spent two nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly, our kids had the best time with the farm animals, great facilities and one of the best camp kitchens. Friendly and helpful staff, my wife even took a soak in the claw foot bath!!!

The wine tasting experience in Bell Wether when we went ticked boxes well.I recommend people to go there when the day doesn’t get too busy like what we did as the place doesn’t have big indoor space like Wynns and Rymill. We visited Bellwether the weekend before long weekend (Queen’s birthday) and there was a pouring rain in the region in the early winter. The perk of rain was that we almost had entire place for ourselves besides staff. Btw, a cold weather outside made the visit even better as the rustic interior design and burning fire made us all feel welcomed immensely.Their wines are quite a mix as they got their grapes not only from Coonawarra but also from other regions in SA for a fun twist of this little place. If you got bored for Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz for this region, try this place for a change. For me, wine tasting is an interactive experience rather than an expert-panel judging, although decent wines are essential. Thanks for Kyra making the experience interactive. She even gave me a small behind-scene peek and a souvenir card to keep. What an amazing experience!Btw, the outdoor environment is also incredible and I probably will come back to stay in the famous tent for 1 or 2 nights.

Brilliant few days and nights spent at Bellwether. So comfortable and welcoming. We had fun foraging in the kitchen garden for meals cooked in the outdoor kitchen. The glamping tents were impressive and so comfortable. very family friendly.
