Helm Design & Management

Had to change to a different architect halfway through design. Andrew Morris promised to deliver a feasibility study and a design for a multi level retail and restaurant building that conformed to local council requirements. One of the issues in the design he sent us was that it required bins to be wheeled through the front of house. A big no no for any commercial tenant. When confronted with this issue he refused to change the design and proceeded to argue why the design is as good as it will be. The feasibility report he provided with the building design was just a copy paste of local council design guidelines which I could have downloaded for free myself. This engagement wasted a significant amount of our time and I would not recommend or engage Helm design for any future work. Absolutely overpriced for the quality of work delivered and Andrew will not consider any of his client's needs.
