Love this place. Bruschetta could have been a little less charred and a bit more garlic and whole potatoes were a bit odd plus personally not a big fan of rustic fries but that’s personal preference. Great vibes and lovely staff

Tasty, quality food with a happy, friendly atmosphere. The live music was excellent. The gluten free (GF) pizza base was actually properly cooked, thin & crispy! A great place to watch the sun go down with a drink after a day out and about.

Massive restaurant in Cairns Harbor. Trendy spot for those who are looking for music, cocktails, and that upscale outside experience. We came for dinner and so long as we were away from the loud music it was a very nice meal. Our waitress was lovely, attentive without being overbearing, and helpful with the menu. We had the overnight braised pork belly which was a sizable and flavorful dish, as well as the roast pineapple and coconut curry with added king prawns. The prawns helped cut down the sweetness of the dish (between the pineapple and eggplant it was VERY sweet). We ended with single scoops of ice cream which was lovely and a great balance.

We were fortunate to get a table. Recommend reserving if you want to come here. The food and drinks were delicious and balanced. Cooked the T-bone perfectly. Relaxed atmosphere and nice staff.

Just had lovely time at Salthouse. Staff are so nice and food is yummy. Couldn’t think of better way to spend last night in Cairns. Atmosphere was great helped by weather and the live music

Had a great lunch here. Beautiful location on the water, lovely staff. And our calamari (actually grilled squid) was ridiculously tender and tasty, best we've ever had! Recommended.

The food was simply amazing which ranged from the steak to the scallops. It was one of the most expensive steaks I’ve ordered and my wife said it was incredible, I’ve eaten too many steaks to narrow it down, that said I had a taste and it was pretty good.Considering how premium this restaurant was the wait staff were incredibly patient with my overly excited children.The view on a rainy day remembered my of Glenorchy, New Zealand with the clouds meeting the mountains. I’ve uploaded some photos to share this.

Had a great time here. Had to wait over an hour for a table but it was given as it was a Saturday night and we walked in. Chilled by the bar with the band for a few drinks before being seated for dinner.Food was excellent and the fish of the day which happened to be barramundi was Devine. The scallops and prawns for entree also hit the spot.

Excellent cuisines and service! Salt house is the best Australian restaurant! We have had local fish roast, three oysters, local prawns and stakes. Those were memorial taste. If you want best dinner in cairns, you should go to Salt House!!!! I strongly recommend it!
