Aster & Rose Weddings

Unfortunately we had a disapointing and stressful experience with Takisha from Aster & Rose, and were left $2k out of pocket which is the exact opposite of what you should feel when booking an on-the-day coordinator.We were forced to cancel our wedding due to Covid and after giving more than 3 months notice (and going back and forth with emails to Takisha) we were not afforded the minimum 50% deposit back as per our contact, and Takisha kept $2,000 of our money for a service not provided (on the day coordination to commence after we had cancelled, not wedding planning which would have required planning prior to when we had to cancel).When Covid hit we decided to try to support our small business vendors by paying everything in full from our savings if we could. Unfortunately for us this meant someone could take advantage of our goodwill and hard earned savings.From the beginning it was a stressful process with Aster and Rose, continuously sharing the same documents that we had completed months prior, repeating ourselves about where our venue was and trying to arrange Takisha to visit. It was clear that Takisha's heart was not in this business anymore.Takisha has since stepped away from her business and it was just unfortunate that we were the collateral damage of this venture.

We cannot begin to express our utmost gratitude to Takisha and her team in helping us make our dream wedding come to life. We initially reached out to Takisha from overseas and knew straight away that we needed to have her on board, as she not only showcased professionalism and enthusiasm but also such warmth and kindness. She took the time to get to know us as a couple which directly was reflected in how our wedding weekend was set up and styled and what vendors we ended up utilising. Takisha thought of things that would have never crossed our minds, was always available to any questions we had, little or big and made this process effortless, taking off any stress we had. We would have never been able to create such a magical weekend without her and are eternally grateful for her help and patience! The wedding day itself ran seamlessly (as far as we are aware, which again shows you how brilliant she is), with neither of us feeling stressed, as Takisha took care of literally everything, setting/ cleaning up, as well as coordinating vendors. She went out of her way to accommodate us and distinctly told us to not lift a finger that weekend haha.In conclusion: If you’re thinking of getting yourself some help, absolutely do it, better yet, get in contact with Aster and Rose, as Takisha was absolutely amazing and everyone deserves to experience her incredible organising and styling abilities!

We cannot thank the team at Aster & Rose, especially Takisha, enough for assisting the planning in the lead up to our wedding and for handling all of the coordination on the day. We had no idea what what involved in arranging such a big event when we started, and having Takisha‘s support along the whole journey really was a god send. As a bride, a number of details were really important to me for the big day. None of this was too small or too silly for Takisha, and in fact she embraced everything I wanted as if it was her own wedding. I trusted her as my eyes and ears on the ground on the day to make sure everything was as I wanted it (and I could just sit back and enjoy the day). Takisha is an extremely organised professional, with fantastic attention to detail and a calm and composed demeanour (which was important amongst the wedding stress)! Thank you A&R for helping us to pull off our perfect wedding day. We truly had the best day of our lives.
