Walking the site at night is a must do if you visit Port Arthur. Unfortunately for our group the tour guide spent the whole time just rambling about stuff none of us could understand. Ruined the tour. The buildings were great through

We (two adults, three teen boys) had Dave as our ghost tour guide. Very funny, quirky and obviously knows his history about Port Arthur! We also came during the day but much preferred the night. Dave’s storytelling is fantastic!

Great experience. Our tour guide was awesome and was full of good stories of this magical place. Well worth staying up for. In summer go to the 9pm tour. It is still day light until about 9:20pm.

Port Arthur Ghost Tours
We were keen for some paranormal action but alas, no such luck. However, our guide, Christine, was lovely and told us some interesting ghost experiences she and other guides and groups had. A pity no such luck for us. Oh well. Still do it! I would definitely do it again, as you never know! The whole place is surreal, and lit up at night adds a great perspective to this beautiful and sad place.

An excellent experience, even on a fresh winters evening! Even at night the location is eerily beautiful. Our guide Todd is excellent. So many stories beautifully told! I believe there is more than one ghost tour, so will have to come back!

Fantastic entertaining night out. Dave, our guide, was awesome. He is friendly, funny, a great storyteller with good knowledge on the history of the place. Didn't see any of the paranormal but would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend going on this tour.

My first ghost tour and not sure of what to expect. Our guide seemed a bit tired towards the end of the night as we were the last session. Overall, a good experience….. but probably wouldn’t go again.However, no umbrellas were allowed and half the night is outdoors.

My partner and I had the pleasure of having Todd as our guide - quirky and enthusiastic, and an asset to the company!Also, we were pleased with the dinner package. Nice restaurant and tasty food, and the staff were great. We recommend booking for 1 - 1.5hrs.Overall, we had a fantastic experience! My only suggestion is that I'd be nice if the entire trail was paved.

Port Arthur Ghost Tours
We spent the afternoon at Port Arthur and then purchased the evening tickets which included dinner and the ghost tour. It was all such a great experience. The food was delicious, the staff lovely and the history of Port Arthur was heavy, sad, shocking and moving.It was interesting talking to the staff who all had their own experiences, which made for interesting conversations. It was freezing but it didn't deter any of us from being outside.
