Had a very fun experience. Whilst i've ridden a horse before, it was the first time i've ridden without a person in front leading the horse. It was a delightful experience. I would recommend this place for horse riding.

I think Glenworth valley is the best place for trail rides in NSW I have been coming here for almost 2 years now I come here every 6 weeks on the weekends and sometimes a week day on a day off and also in the school holidays for trail rides. I love how close it is to Sydney the managers and guides are lovely and very relaxed. They have very well educated horses and they are very happy and they are nice and fresh and all of their horses are very gorgeous and beautifuland i like it how they let the more experienced go to the front and canter and i love how they always people who they want to ride.

We camped at Glenworth Valley over the weekend, we had a large group (x9 in total inc x3 young kids) and we had a brilliant time! The location is stunning and so many activities in a central area makes it fantastic for families. The enormous herd of horses are a sight to see and definitely my favourite part of my visit. Despite the wet weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The amenities are clean and there is a noise curfew which is great. We went horse riding for 2hrs on a trail ride, our guide was Maddie and she was brilliant; really friendly and personable. Every single staff member I encountered in the stables were super welcoming and friendly, and you can tell are extremely passionate about the horses.I've been riding since childhood and have visited many stables. Glenworth Valley was by far one of the best places I've been: the horses are well taken care of, the staff genuinely take time to assess guests' riding ability, height/weight, who you are riding with [we had a group of varying riding-experience], and match you with a horse that is suitable. The care and dedication to both their horses and guests was notable and refreshing! I wish more stables operated this way.We took x2 of our kids for a lead pony ride and were taken care of by Annette, she was AMAZING! So friendly and great with the kids, they were a bit scared initially but warmed up to her instantly and were excited to meet the horses. My nephew was talking about it all day and even drew pictures of him and his horse Pedro" when he got home <3 Please pass on our thanks!"

A beautiful experience. Our instructor, Annette was well-experienced, friendly, helpful and did a great job at making sure everyone in our group was safe and comfortable. I was fortunate to have a horse that was calm and young. The instructors put in a great effort to give you a horse that is right for you and your level of experience. As a beginner, I stayed close to the instructor and kept with my group , but my dad (a more experienced rider) was able to go ahead on his own at a faster pace. Incredible scenery , very relaxing! Would do again for sure!

What a great and fun experience I had! Went for the 1.5 hour horse riding experience, worth it. Absolutely beautiful horses and you learn about their personalities from the guides (super knowledgeable and awesome) too. In terms of planning, when you go to reception to check in, you just need to go a bit earlier to line up because it can be slow when there are big families waiting. Otherwise, you'll have a really nice relaxing time!

Great venueWhat a beautiful valley for camping coupled with the adventure activities, a stunning event/function centre and outstanding customer service.A few things could be improved, although these did not detract from our enjoyment in a significant way. The amenities in the campground needed a thorough cleaning, they had a daily tidy up, but were quite grubby. Some hiking trails would be a great addition as the trails are all for hoses with no bushwalking during the day.If you are choosing to use a third party for glamping, take care as one of our party was set up in the wrong paddock and the tent leaked.Overall Glenworth Valley gets a big thumbs up from us.

2 hour afternoon trail ride although was only riding for 1.5hrs. Was worried as we are experienced riders, but they put us on lovely forward going horses, at the front of the group, and we got to have 3 short canters and then the rest of group trotted to catch up. Group was about 10 plus 2 guides. Horses like to be in their preferred order which is a nice way to treat the horses. Although was a little frustrating having to stay in a single file line. Trail was lovely and peaceful in the bottom of the valley, woodland and along the stream, which we crossed once.Guide at front could have been better at communicating.. i.e. telling us when we were going to canter and when we were going to stop rather than simply stopping dead in front of us.
