I don't normally post about supermarkets as you've seen one you've seen them all. But not this one!!!We could fit two of our local Woolworths (Qld) into this one! The cold storage is incredible! Floor to near ceiling wall to wall across 3 walls.I would have loved to have stayed for a few hours but we were in a hurry.

I just want to say what lovely staff members I encountered in this branch of Woolworths. It is a very big store with plenty of stock, so that already makes it a pleasant place to shop but when I couldn’t find a particular item, after looking everywhere I found one young lady restocking shelves in the fruit and veg section and she knew exactly where to find my item and gave a description for the opposite end of the store and then decided it would easier if she showed me and so was happy to walk me all the way over and point out where I should go. This has never happened to me before at other Woolworths so I commend get. And she was so friendly. So too was the girl manning the self service checkouts so that overall I left feeling very happy with my visit. Parking is also easy. So overall I would recommend this over the other supermarket brands in the area.

Don’t go! Always understaffed. After the 6th time having to go through self checkout with $250 plus shop which is not convenient or easy, I promised myself I would never go back. The last time I had a large trolley and I had to ask for assistance 5 times. The process was so slow. On top of that the range of fruit and vegetables is poor. You are better off going to Coles.

good, cheap and big but the think is that a lot of employees doesn't know anything if you ask question about fish, shrimp or anything and they are working on the fishing place. They need a bit of knowledge.. it took me 5 person to get able to have an answer

Big shout out to Zane, who provided excellent customer service to me twice yesterday when I could not locate 2 different products. He went above and beyond to help me and with a lovely smile and friendly attitude!Separately, I really want to love Woolworths (some great team members and 10% off shop with WOW mobile and very friendly) and you stock a wider range of great gluten free products (packet and frozen); however, I constantly find it difficult to find what I want at Woolworths, Katoomba, and you keep moving things around when I've finally got used to where they are.Ideally, please leave health foods (where they've been previously for some time) in the health food isle and put other foods where they logically fit (e.g. canned apricot nectar with the canned fruit) or be consistent and put all health foods with their regular product (gluten-free cereals with cereals, gf crackers with crackers), etc, but not half and half!.

Very old but so is everything in Katoomba so it fits!Massive supermarket!!! Could fit 2 of ours back home into this oneHave NEVER seen so much cold storage in one supermarket!!!! Checkout guy was very friendly, made you feel really welcome.

It would be great if you would employ some checkout staff here, there are never any tills open in Katoomba. You then wouldn’t need to have expensive camera contracts and I wouldn’t be made to feel untrusted and like a potential criminal.

It is a big mart in Katoomba. Well equipped with fresh vegetables, meats and groceries. When I was enjoying shopping there, the staffs were cleaning the floors. It is maintained well. There is a washroom, the kind staff will show you the way. Enjoy.
