Terrible school in a terrible suburb. Our child however had a very motivated and caring teacher. To be honest she was to good of a teacher for such a terrible school. Over all it was so bad we pulled our child out. Would not recommend at all.

Excellent school with the bilingual program! Definitely worth the 30mins daily commute. My daughter went from speaking no mandarin at all to being able to converse and speak basic mandarin in 2 years.

My 2kids are stydying atrihod westmy boywho 10 who in grade6, my daughtershe 8years old she in grade 2 both of them like the school and the teacher very much.i notices since they born and tbey enrolin richmond west they getting more intelegence they can speak 2 langueges they speak english very good just like native .which made me really surprised.my boy nrxt year he change school into richmond high and stydy year7 i'mreally happy about it abyway, the school is near richmond station it near everything whoolworth, aldi, my chemist...groceries..haircut, nail polish,

I've been in this school ever since prep to year 5, and here are my pros and cons.PROS-No detention-Multi language classes-10 ticks reward-Lots of games played with class-Dragon boat festival thingy-End of year concert-Lots of activities-No dating :/-Nearly everything is free (no cost of money)CONS-Trash teachers-Stupid rules-No canteen-Children with garbage behaviours-Its so small for around 350 students (there's maybe more now), it's like a bin with childrens squashed togetherOtherwise, I think it's okay. It's just that the education is bad. I find everything I've learnt easier than breathing.

Im a former RWPS student, this is a great school and everyone treats eachother like family but there were some things like swearing but its very rare, overall, its a pretty great place and you should check it out :) And you should defo send ur child to this school! :)

What a fabulou, caring school environment all the teachers and staff/helpers have created here. Our children have all gone to this school and we cannot be more greatfull for administering the bilingual program. I look forward to sending my youngest daughter also to Richmond West in the coming year.

This primary is awesome. It has a great mix of children, their teachers are top notch and the bi lingual program a bonus. Come and check it out for yourself and don't be deterred by the location.
