We adopted our beautiful Australian cattle dog from Happy Paws Haven about two months ago. We talked to Sally when we arrived about the sort of dog we were hoping to take home and she immediately matched us with Mushroom. HPH obviously care deeply about the animals they re-home, and I would recommend them highly.

I found my perfect cat here. Unfortunately, violent diarrhea occurred on the short drive home, and hourly thereafter. Off to the vet. Bad gingivitis, inflamed rectum, a pcr test revealed clostridium perrfringens and positive for feline infectious peritonitis. At this stage I may escape the bad side of fip, to early to tell. Still treating clostridium, fervently hoping he comes good. This shelter does not have the resources or carefactor to ensure healthy animals. Would NOT recommend. This shelter has been to court for neglect before, and was found guilty. Don't go there unless you want hefty vet bills and heartache.

There are a few individuals who have for personal reasons have a vendetta against Happy Paws Haven . All animals are regularly vet checked all facilities are cleaned daily and parasite control given monthly or as required. Every animal is checked every day to make sure they are all well. All our volunteers do a wonderful job of looking after the animals. We take pride in everything we do.

This is not an inner city government funded animal shelter, so it really relies on help donations and volunteers. But Sally does an amazing job. The dogs I've met there are just beautiful and there's a trainer onsite most days so any dog you adopt has basic training for going on the best walks with your new friend. The cats are all cute as. Plz #adoptdontshop and if anyone has a spare couple hours I'm sure the help would be greatly appreciated. Good idea for young adults to learn so much about responsibility and caring for others too. ☺️

I picked up my dog grizzy from the shelter a few weeks ago, And i have been meaning to write this review since.Happy paws is an amazing organization. They have done so well for the animals to have large secured yards, instead of cages. The cats housing is kept clean and they have lots of toys. Its incredible what these guys do with very little funding. Keep up the good work Sally. You are appreciated. By humans and animals.

We adopted our doggy Sia from here about 2 and a half years ago and were so happy to stop by and help Sally out for the morning looking after some of the animals and let her see how well Sia is doing. Sally does AMAZING work looking after so many animals and finding loving homes for them❤

I came out to Sally's place about two years ago and I adopted our beautiful torti Melissa. Melissa had been there for 11 years from when she was a kitten. Just prior to us adopting her, Sally had taken her to the vet because she had lost a lot of weight. Blood tests were done and she was found to have a thyroid problem. I picked up her tablets from the vet on my way home. Melissa is the most loving beautiful gorgeous girl. She is our baby and she loves her big brother (our other cat Kumar) She is absolutely thriving. If Melissa had not been taken to Sally's 13 years ago, she would have been put down.
