The only place to go for what you need! They've got you covered in every way for skateboarding, surfing and everything in-between. I love the price matching on wetsuits and core crew membership. Huge range of sunglasses, surfboards, shoes, shorts - everything you need is here! A massive shop that is much bigger than what it appears from outside. Staff are helpful & friendly. Great local store, always a pleasure to purchase from.

Put simply Red Herring Surf is the best surf shop in Tassie, no question.There's no substitute for local knowledge! I go there whenever I need anything - clothes, boards, wetsuits, accessories and gifts! Anyone who's serious about surfing or action sports in general should start their shopping there!

Highly recommend Red Herring and their friendly and helpful staff. We went in during our surfing trip looking for some boards and Luke and the team were amazing.Not only did we get recommendations for surf spots we also got our boards and as a surprise bonus Luke gave us and our new boards a lift to get our camper van! Awesome customer service, a great start to our trip! Thanks guys.

Bought a surf board a few months ago and had a fantastic experience. Since I did not possess a vehicle to transport the board, the manager (whose name I have forgotten, apologies) personally delivered the board to my house free of cost! Very friendly staff as well.
