Westbourne College

I recently completed my studies at Westbourne College. After leaving the Armed Forces after twenty-two years, returning to civilian life was quite daunting. My fears were soon allayed by the staff at Westbourne giving me renewed confidence for the road ahead.The courses I undertook were delivered with passion and clarity, and after class personal tuition was always at hand when I required it. Coupled with being RPL' d on previous qualifications gained in the Military, I can highly recommend this institution.

I spent 20 years with Victoria Police, retiring at A/S/SGT level. As with most ex-police and emergency service personnel, the transition out of these careers presents you with the dilemma of having to literally reinvent yourself. This is where Rob Gillespie and Westbourne College came in. I called Rob to explain my situation and was immediately taken under his wing. He guided and advised me on the best pathway to reinvention through educational pathways. It was with his support and guidance that I am now both highly qualified, and in my dream job working for government.For anyone who is contemplating any career/educational developmental opportunities, do yourself a favour and call Rob. He and his organisation are clearly the industry leader and have set the benchmark for outstanding service.

Making the decision to leave the Police after 12 years felt like was walking away from hundreds of hours training, years of experience and my rank and hard work would amount to nothing. Fortunately, I came across Westbourne and gave them a call. The rest is easy conversations with Robert and some homework and I'm now the proud holder of the Dip of Leadership and Management which will go a long way in assisting my transition to my new career. I recently completed my Diploma at Westbourne College in Security & Risk Management. I found the course current and extremely well put together. The website is extremely user friendly and IT support was extremely efficient. The Facilitators are excellent! I look forward to further studies in the near future. After deciding i wanted to pursue higher qualifications pertaining to my industry, i began my studies through Westbourne College. The more i delved into the studies, the more it became clear how applicable these modules were to my day to day work. Now, I have completed and obtained a relevant and nationally recognised Diploma. Westbourne College and Robert Gillespie have been a breath of fresh air in the WHS and Security industry for me. The courses are very well structured and the trainers are very knowledgeable and supportive.
