None of staff can speak English. Coz I can’t understand Their language. Poor co ordination within their own team. One staff give one quotation another staff trying to add unnecessary stuff and intentionally willing to charge more. Made me wait for almost 35 mins even after pre bookings and changes their quotation price. I would never recomend this place to anyone.

Went in for a hair cut today for the first time as the hairdresser I normally go to was fully booked. I would’ve postponed getting a haircut if I knew the overall service’s NOT on point.I’m Korean-Australian and I speak fluent Korean and I still don’t understand as to why the lady who gave me the cut decided to talk to me in English when she wasn’t even able to fluently speak English. There’s no way that she didn’t know I was Korean as I said “hi, I made a booking” IN KOREAN as I walked in and she responded in English by saying “for haircut?”.I told the lady what sort of length and style I wanted once I sat down and showed her a few pictures I brought with to help her understanding. Although I tried, my hair doesn’t look nowhere near as the pictures and it just feels like I got my hair trimmed instead of getting the stylish cut I initially asked for (a layered cut with so-called “side bangs”) which shouldn’t cost what I paid. Having said that, it is overpriced when you consider the service. I’m pretty sure she didn’t fully understand what I meant to start with in terms of the style I was talking about, but it’s more annoying that she didn’t even try to clarify or communicate with me throughout the cut. There was no conversation shared AT ALL during the service. I’m really regretting not seeing my hairdresser as I’m quite disappointed with the look I have now and frustrated to realise that I’ve got a wedding to go on the weekend.This’s by far the worst experience I’ve ever had from a Korean hairdresser and not worth the money. Long story short, I’d recommend this place for those who don’t want to be bothered during the service and end up with a surprise or for those who are simply after a trim.

I had the worst experience here today. I was told that the half head of foils would not be applied on my regrowth because I had dark hair regrowth. Apparently that is a different service using permanent color and would cost $180. Nowhere in the Groupon did it say that the foils could not be used on dark hair that had to be lifted up due to regrowth/prior color. The lady refused to tell me her name as well. I had to leave with just a cut and style and decided not to have any colour and forfeited my Groupon for $79 just basically to have a haircut. At one point the receptionist who also was cutting hair just said she refused to talk to me any further.

I went there today with my hair being a total mess. Roots grown out, three different haircolours, split ends. You name it. I booked a voucher over Groupon and hoped for some saving of the situation on my head. My package included half a head of foils, a treatment, a cut and a blow dry. I added a toner for 45$ and two hrs later I looked like a whole new person. Now I have a very nice grey blonde tone on my head, my hair is sleek and smooth and I love it! Would come here again at anytime!

If you can get a hold of them to book an appointment, it's a good little place. I had to make many phone calls and leave voicemails with no one ever ringing me back, so the service there is pretty lacking. I finally got through one day and booked appointment. They made me wait even after I had a booking. If I didn't ask, am I getting my haircut?"

Avoid avoid avoid! I bought a groupon and they tried to charge me and extra $75 for toner and 'below the shoulder' hair, my hair barely brushes the top of my shoulder! The receptionist was rude. What a waste of time.And again rude, my hair is not below my shoulder and i have never been charged extra by anyone in Australia so far!

I had a great experience. I sent a message the day before I wanted to get my hair done and also wanted to book appointments for my kids. They were quick to reply and very accommodating. And more importantly, we all walked out with great hair :) The ladies are very professional and efficient. We showed pictures of what we wanted and we each got exactly what we asked for! We'll definitely be coming back. Thank you!!

Popped in here today with no appointment...my friend badly needed a fringe trim. The stylist was friendly & professional. I noticed the client who was before us walked out looking like a Kpop Star. Friend was super happy so ill be back myself to try out their colouring services

The worst salon ever, I went there for cutting my hair. And I called reservation and asker price first. They said just 35$ But they charge me 80$ for washing and cuttihg that price not including washig hair. So I have to cut hair without any water. They ruin my hair totally. How can cut hair without water. Crazy!!

I was very dissatisfied with my visit at BlackPink Hair. I went there to get a trim of my curly mid-back long hair. The hairdresser asked me how much she should cut and we both agreed to 3 cm. Then she pointed out in surprise that my hair are longer at the back and shorter around my face. I said yeah that's normal because I have a gradually cut. She asked me, if she should give the front hair a trim as well and I agreed of course. The whole process was very uncomfortable, because I felt I had to give her precise instructions how to cut my hair. I mean I just want to get a trim to have healthy hair. In my opinion nothing to complicated... In total I had to spend 40$ (I think she did four cuts in total). I wouldn't recommend BlackPink Hair.
