Gemini Cockburn

My car was involved in a rear end collision back at the end of January and my insurance towed it to Gemini. I was warned by another mechanic about them, but at the time my insurance did not give me a choice.Now, Gemini did an alright job of replacing (not repairing) my back hatch, which is what earnt them their one star today.I had to think so long and hard about this review, but honestly, after being told they would fix my car to where it was prior the accident... They did not deliver on that promise.My car was finally ready to be picked up early March, hooray!Except... The gearbox didn't move out of park. Turns out Gemini do not do mechanical repairs. It might have been nice had they perhaps contacted me to discuss the fact they had been reversing my car all around their yard because they too couldn't get it into drive. We thought there was a trick to it!" Um... No. This is highly unprofessional for a car repair service to say to any customer.Guys

Went to Gemini through insurance. Two things they need to fix, replace the mesh and paint the bumper, easy easy job. I took a day off from work to collect the car. First thing I saw was the damage mesh not replaced. Therefore, it had to stay for longer and I need to reschedule everything else for picking the car. Came for the second time, the work is completed but the quality of work is not up to Australian standard. The mesh wasn't fitted properly and has a gap between, if it's a $300 job I wouldn't winge but this is China standard for a $1000 job.

Terrible service, poor quality repairs. I waited 6 months for my car to be fixed because they ordered a part that was superseded. When I picked up my car the spare wheel well was full of water. Too many other issues to list. I will never use Gemini again.

Got involved in an accident, which was not my fault. I was with Coles car insurance and they suggested me to Gemini Cockburn. After few days from collecting car from repair, found water leak in boot. After, I took car two times to them and couldn’t fix. The third time they argued me it was because of an old repair fault and also want me to drop the car for one day to find the source of water leak. I requested a loan car as I live 35 kms away and they offered a loan car in an excess of $5000 which I can’t afford. Clearly means, they want to avoid me from their center.Not a professional behaviour. Very rude behaviour from staff. Never take the car to them for any reason.

The company completed my work on my car in a quick timeframe and to a very high standard. Well done guys.

Never again going to this place. Went there for a repaint of a small scratch initially said will take 4days work, called me on the 4th day to say it needs extra 3days coz the guy who was doing it was sick for days & they didn’t bother to replace him. They said they couldn’t help :( very disappointed. Not everyone has multiple cars in their garage. If staff is sick then replace him. First come first served basis. Poor customer service.

I am a perfectionist and I can not fault the workmanship and customer service. Everything was perfect.Complements go to the spray painter! The car looks like it has just been rolled out of the Isuzu factory. The paint job is perfect and no orange peeling.very happy with the outcome. Will recommend.
