RACV Solar

RACV Solar (formerly Gippsland Solar) is really excellent.Gippy Solar installed my 6.45 Kwh solar system in 2017.In 2020 Gippy Solar installed my Tesla PW2 battery.It is great having solar but having a battery to go with it is absolutely wonderful.With a battery you save power generated during the day to use at night when usage is higher.It negates your power bill and you can feel that you are doing your little bit to lessen emissions.Having a battery also keeps your power going during power outages.When the grid was down for long periods during the awful storms on June 9 of this year the battery kept the lights on and the power going the whole time.RACV Solar are really great to deal with. They are very professional but they also a really nice bunch of people to do business with.There is no hard sell and they are really great at advising you of different options that are most suitable for your needs.If I decide to have any updates or further additions to my solar system installed I would have no hesitation in using RACV Solar again.I would definitely recommend RACV Solar to anyone thinking of installing a solar system.

RACV Solar (Gippsland Solar) was great to deal with. Very knowledgeable about what products would suit our requirements and how we wanted to expand our system at a later date. Assisted with the Govt rebate process. They were very reasonably priced, no pushy sales people, unlike others I contacted, and the installation was perfect.

Disappointed that my elderly parents now have a water leak coming into their bathroom ceiling, that is directly under a solar panel installed by RACV Solar. Please schedule a technician to inspect and rectify this situation immediately.

With a very complex roof, RACV Solar were great to work with. All my many questions were answered, the communication was great, the install was very tidy, and the follow up to ensure everything was working well was a nice surprise. It was a no hassles install. The Enphase app is also great to see the power we are generating.

System was installed approx 15 months ago (panels and battery) - no problems with system working fine for a few months. For approx approx 5 of those 15 months the system has been reporting error after error, at times the panels were providing no power to the house or grid; the battery BMS failed and was replaced after 3 months and a dozen emails. Since then the battery has failed again and has been broken for well over a month. No action from service department unless I chase them up. C'mon RACV - your better than this - aren't you?

RACV Solar have been an absolute pleasure to deal with through the whole process of getting our solar PV / heat pump hot water services installed.Clay and the team were always ready to listen and make sure that what we needed was what we got. They were able to provide the components that we wanted (based on the Choice recommendations), then blending them into a system. They were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the Solar Vic requirements tooWe now have both a full solar PV and a heat pump HWS system, which they've installed and are working beautifully.The installers were all excellent tradies (both electricians and plumbers) and did a first-rate job, without any fuss or mess, cleaning as they went.We are planning to have a wall charger installed when we purchase an electric vehicle in 2023/4 and we will be back to Clay for that too.You might be able to find someone a bit cheaper, but you will not find anyone better, and the RACV will be around in the future to help out if anything goes wrong. Can you say that about most companies?
