If you don't mind noisy kids around that's your library. Also the wifi doesn't work.

Books. A dying medium. Good venue to bring the kids for a read-a-thon with different group sessions available. Internet access and copy machine for use also. Helpful friendly staff if needed for assistance.

Library, or day-care? You choose. The amount of noise, crying and screaming from crying bubbas / toddlers and associated parents, is something that I'd never really considered in a library, as a new and novel approach to service delivery.A lot of the technical books have been yanked like many libraries, and replaced with Dummies" versions for OAPs. Otherwise their book selection is pretty good still

very good library and facilities. staff are always friendly and helpful. however the noise of this library shouldn't be ignored. the librarians amongst community members seem to disregard the concept of quietness when visiting Scarborough.

Some nice spaces available but absolutely overloaded with events. Between reading sessions, workshops, chatting social circles and everything else, finding a quiet space here to escape the world is near impossible. Sadly, many libraries are going the same way in order to justify their existence to an increasingly noisy world.Parking is also an absolute nightmare, especially if there is an event for babies scheduled (which seems to be always).

Come here to play with your kids or do assessments in groups, forget to be able to read or study quietly. Even when is empty, the staff doesn't stop talking loud

Good facility but the some of the staff are extremely loud. Can clearly hear a few of them talking non-stop and loudly from the other end of the building which doesn’t make for a quiet environment as one would expect.

Aren't libraries meant to be quiet places? Babies crying, people talking on the phone etc. I decided to go home to study.
