It has almost been one year since moving into our new home and we’re still in love with all the custom aspects of our home - our custom stairs and tv unit are my favourite.David has a relatively good list of ‘standard’ inclusions which we could keep or change. During our build we had made many changes to the ‘standard’ inclusions including changing out the tapware, appliances, materials, tiles and stone bench tops. The process of making any adjustments to the inclusions have been easy and hassle free. David and team have always been accommodating to our needs and wants for the build.David has a friendly and easy to deal with team who are honest, worked in our best interest and provided quality work. We’ve met several different people along the way and David is very highly regarded amongst his team. True to their words, David is both professional and personal, and very easy to communicate with, and he has always been fair and honest in all his dealings with us. He has also guided us and educated us along the way, and for a young family who was building for the first time, he has been a tremendous help to us.David and his team were always contactable and provided progress updates through their portal as well as regular updates through phone calls, text messages and emails – we never felt like we weren’t heard or had been left in the lurch. Progress reports via the Arlington homes portal was helpful and clear. It helped us understand where we’re at in the build, what’s been done, hasn’t been done and what’s happening next. It also outlines any obstacles along the way and any agreements between us and David.Building a home is a big project so to say there has been no roadblocks along the way would not be realistic. However, David has always been able to work with us to quickly come to an agreeable outcome. We can always trust that David will communicate any issues to us and to resolve any roadblocks in a timely manner.Michael who is Arlington Homes building supervisor has joined the team recently, is also a pleasure to communicate with. Michael is easy going and has been very helpful post hand over.A massive thank you to everyone at Arlington Homes for building us our family home that we’ll love for decades to come.
