Surf Club | Avoca Beach SLSC | Avoca Beach | The Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club was established in 1929 and over the years has had a long and proud tradition in patrolling, competition and community involvement. Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach from October through to late April each year with voluntary patrols on the weekends and public holidays. Avoca Beach Surf Club is the proud home to Sunsets Bistro, serving family favorite quality food with a view.

Beautiful beach, great atmosphere, lovely food. Fish and chips take away close by and Cafe. Amenities close to beach. Definitely recommend a visit.

Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club
A nice spot with plenty of lifeguards patrolling the beach. You can watch the surfers catch the waves and enjoy all that Avoca has to offer. Next to lovely places to drink and eat. Plenty of sport activities to watch as this section of the beach is where they start the races and The carpark is to offload equipment easily.

Gave one star just to write the review.How disappointing this place was…… 1 hour 30 minutes to get our food……. The kitchen was in a world of pain - the staff were confused and a manager who did not get the night right at all. Bar staff stood around talking all the while tables were filled with dirty glasses and plates. The kitchen struggled, no food was coming out! 930 for a meal I ordered at 8………..(that included bread) that’s my bedtime!!!!!! Once the food came out it was nice - but the service was a disgrace. Won’t be back and should have listened to the locals.

Awesome food and a good menu. Nothing over the top but what’s on offer is really delicious and served quickly. Best (and I mean THE best) garden salad I’ve had at a bistro anywhere. Reasonable prices. Great service. Friendly staff, very helpful. Will definitely come back.

This beach advises online they have disability access Mats, but no such thing. Turned up with my disabled daughter to find no mats on the beach. Ignorant people with no disabled pass and no respect were parked in the disabled parking. Avoca beach is very disappointing.
