U Star Nails

The lady who served me (unsure of her name but she had a Moshino Couture shirt on & I came in on 16/2 at around 12pm) was absolutely lovely and very attentive! One of the best mani/pedi’s I’ve had. She didn’t rush and took extra care for the small things like making sure nothing was stuck under my nails.Would definitely love to come back for her!

Got my nails done asked for purple chrome affect.. after 3 hours still not what I asked for. I had this done less than a week ago I now need to go else where. Don’t go there

Pretty awful experience all my nails were different sizes and shapes! The woman cut my skin on the top of my finger and the acrylic was applied too far up to the point it was on my skin in places and some were placed on wonky. They were lifting that day and I ended up removing them a week later, due to the lifting my nails had collected debris. On top of all that they are more expensive than any other salon I’ve been to. (I wouldn’t mind paying a higher price for equal or better quality services but it really was a bad salon experience all round)

Before I start, if I could give 0 stars...I would. A friend and I went together and had the WORST experience ever. I wanted blue nails with a certain design and I continuously asked each worker if it was possible. The design contained gold foils and they repeatedly assured me that they could do it. After putting down the actual acrylics, they began to paint the base of the nail and they completely went off the design. I began to question why and to my surprise they said they didn't have the gold foils after consistently promising me that the design I wanted was possible. I didn't want to pay for anything I didn't want but they insisted on putting on the colour just so I could give them business. I refused and just paid for the base and walked out. If you plan to come here, DON'T. They lack skills and supplies. The only thing you're guaranteed are solid colour nails. They even asked my friend if she spoke Vietnamese just to make sure we didn't understand them and their disrespectful antics.Also, my friend and I asked for coffin nails and when looked at side by side, they look completely different AND uneven at that. Overall, I don't recommend. It's by far the worst nail salon in Melbourne.

My sns broke in 1 day and went back to fix and now looks so different to the others cause the lady rushed it, darker colour and thick and uneven. Rest of my nails have cracks and lines.. not the best service either wouldn’t recommend

I got my nails done today at around 12:30 today and they were very rushed and very overpriced they charged me $70 for a fulls set of acrylic nails that are just a basic colour which at a lot of other places I’ve been to they are close to $50, and they were very hard to understand i was just not satisfied with my service

Could not recommend against this business enough. I had my nails booked in for 7 waited over half an hour to be seen. Further to that the nails were rushed, there is spillage of nail polish all over my hands. furthermore when the nail technician made a mistake she did not wipe the excess nail polish from her finger to a tissue but rather onto my hand.

would not recommend any less.on this day I went seemed very quiet with only myself and one another getting our nails done. I was sat right next to the only other client in the store which I assumed was because both workers wanted to chat and that they did! I was quite relieved when the staff member doing my nails was needed for another customer, finally silence!I was then moved to the other side of the only other client for another lady to take over which I thought was a little pointless since I was already established and comfortable in my seat but no worries maybe they have their own tables and don’t share?I am all for a little chit chat with colleagues while working but these ladies DO NOT STOP and really didn’t care how loud.Annoying me more was the employee doing my nails would stop what she was doing only to entertain her conversation, lucky I was in no rush.Unfortunately I was missing a few nails and was looked at like I was absolutely out of this world to stop her as she was about to use the METAL filing drill piece on my natural nail, explaining my nails are rather thin and sensitive and could she please not use the harshest file on my nail. Due to her very important conversation with her colleague she not once asked me what style I was after and was shocked after she showed me what she assumed I wanted and I then told her no, that they were no where near what I was after. It was then I personally realised not only did she not ask me what I what eg. shape or length, she also didn’t even even address my existence with “hello,how are you?” as you would expect in any customer service/retail business. She was only interested in her conversation with her fellow colleague.I have never wanted to scream “will you both just stop talking for 5 minutes please, you are giving me a headache!!!!!” More in my lifetime!!!! Like I said, all for a chit chat but I don’t think they even took a breath!while my nails dried sit across from me was 3 staff members including the one that was doing my nails talking amongst themselves (at this point was no surprise) but also all on their phones relaxed with no care in the world. I wasn’t sure if I stubbled into their lunch room and they were doing me a favour fitting me in or if I was a paying customer who entered via the shop entrance!Never in my life time have I regretted more not getting up mid service and taking my business else where.SOOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!definitely will not I’ll not be returning when in other salons I get amazing beautiful nails minus the headache, not figuratively speaking.
