I love the panang pumpkin pie!! Tastes so delicious and creamy with a thin crunchy pastry. Super filling and lovely and warm; fresh out of the oven!! Tried the creamy cauliflower too which is amazing as well.

Gum Tree Pies are my favorite! I've had them in Yackadandah, Bright, Beechworth and from Canberra EPIC farmers market, they are consistently amazing. The pastry is so flakey and fillings are super tasty with chunks of meat and vegetables. My favourites are the chicken & mushroom, Thai chicken curry, steak & mushroom and pepper steak. $7 per pie and well worth it.

We have been visitors of their Yackandandah store and stumbled across their store at Beechworth. The pies are exceptional as they are in Yack. The sausage rolls are good and the milk shakes are delicious and have malt too!!! There are a good amount of seats and tables inside and outside which is better than the store at Yack. Do yourself a favor and get a Gum Tree pie at Beechworth.

A very good place for a pies, cake and coffee in Beechworth.The steak and pepper pie I had good meat filling with a delicious sauce and the pastry was just right with a flacky finish. The size was generous.My cappuccino was strong and smooth, and hot. Nice!My chocolate Brownie was huge, solid and tasty. Value for money.Very happy to have stopped here on a cold day.

We go here as often as possible. Only 30 minutes away. The pies have beautiful big pieces of meat. Lots of amazing flavours to choose from. Beautiful tarts and coffee. Very fast service. Toilets. Covid safe. Great staff. Prices very good. The sausage rolls are enormous full of vegetables and taste amazing.

Stopped here after bike riding up from Everton rail station on the track with 6 others. Most had coffee with others trying out their pies, which were given a thumbs up.

In all the pies glory, it could not handle the pressure of how hungry I was… and fell to pieces whilst eating. 10/10 flavour. 1/10 structural integrity.

OMG so good. We ordered chicken and mushroom pie and steak and pepper pie. They were both so delicious, pastry was flaky and nice, steak pie had super big size chunks of steak in it. Serving temperature was spot on too. Well done! If you are ordering beef based pies, grab relish for 50c extra, it's goes really well with pies. Highly recommended.

I had several friends recommend this meat pie place to me. It really did not disappoint. The meat pies are amazing! The pies have very big chunks of steak and the filling sauce is just beautiful. The portion size is very generous. I had the steak & mushroom and steak & redwine. I want to try all the other steaks now! I bet they're just as good.

Amazing pies and amazing customer service too! We got the Thai Green Curry and the peppered steak to compare to Parker Pies. I found the Thai Green Curry filling was better here at Gum Trees, but the pastry might be slightly better at Parker's.But I would still 100% recommend this pie place!
