Great service and lovely drivers(at least the ones I have seen).All these people don't understand that the bus drivers face bad customers all the time, the westerns suburbs are filled with gang members e.t.c. A few months ago this African-American guy smashed a window on a bus. The way the bus drivers get treated that's the way everyone will get treated.A pedestrian got killed about a year ago, that wasn't the driver's fault, the pedestrian had alcohol in his system and simply ran in the bus and resulted in himself getting killed.

Just when you think they can’t possibly get any worse! New band of drivers that can’t drive…. Either crawl or constantly on their breaks like right now! Always easy 5-9 mins late… my 5.16 from Newport to Willi just didn’t show up and the 5.31… was 9 mins late. The app gives no reason or an alert that a bus has been cancelled. Will send Sita the whiplash bill! This guy is one of many that simply CANT DRIVE!

The bus drivers are reckless, one pedestrian was killed in Williamstown by a 472 Sita bus and I was not surprised. I often ride the bus when a friend of the driver gets on and they chat away with the driving a secondary concern. I appreciate the timetables they try to meet require them to drive aggressively but they do not and should not be having long conversations with passengers (friends) . Also shocked at how many of these bus drivers friends ride for free. The worst drivers are the ones that have been there for a while and think they are above law. How long before someone else gets killed ? I am guessing not long if nothing changes . And if there is another death or injury watch the lawsuits fly

Thier bus drivers are creeps and stare constantly at younger women . It's not safe to take the bus

A few days ago the driver of this bus hit my boyfriend, he was going correctly in the bicycle lane, the driver seeing what he had done instead of stopping to validate that the person (my boyfriend in this case) was Well, it went straight on.My boyfriend tried to catch up with him and that's how he was able to take a picture of the vehicle. I am reading the previous comments and I see that it is not the first that this type of accident has happened, even one person mentions that if it is not until a person dies that the owners or managers of this company will do something about it, a 2.5 rating should be alarming.I demand that my case be addressed by this means and the situation be amended.BUS OPERATOR NUMBER PLATES 6833 AO

I’ve had so many bad experiences on the 401 bus Nth Melb to the hospital. Today I got on and it was 29° outside and the heating was on. When I asked if he could turn the air con on to cool it down the driver yelled at it me “it’s not my job. Today I drive this bus, tomorrow I’ll drive a different bus”He was rude to me, shrugged his shoulders and couldn’t care less. This driver clearly doesn’t consider customer service to be part of his job. I’m paying to use a service, for which I am reliant on to get to my appointments.

Disgusted!I am a manager of a Shop in Mason St.26 Sept 2022I witnessed the worst duty of care ever.The bus was at the stop just before turning right onto Hansen st. Around 5:35 pmA passenger fell from the bus, I looked in my rear mirror and saw the man on the ground.THEN the bus indicated and left.I drove up to the next intersection and did a upturn to help.The man is a local in the community and does have a “problem”This does not make it right that the driver leaves him passed out, laying on the ground!.Can someone comment where I make a formal complaint!I can’t find an email for Sita Bus Lines.

Second night in a row….5.01from Newport Intersection to Willi buses run EXTREMELY late. Last night 12 mins…. Tonight drum roll……. 23 mins late. The new take over has made this mode of transport near impossible to rely on. Get your acts together!!!! Can do the mandatory 5-8 mins late every day but 23 is taking the P!!!Now another night tonight with 2 no shows to Williamstown and the 5.52 currently saying running 16 mins late!GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER

it's a shame I can't give a rating of zero stars because that is what the bus drivers deserve. particularly around footscray, the drivers have a strong disregard for road rules and pedestrian safety. someone needs to have a good word to these bus drivers and take their ego down a notch, there's a big difference between making a mistake and straight up breaking the law.

Buses are usually late up to 20 minutes late particularly on weekends at times not turning up at all. People have complained to them but as they are a family run company they don't do anything. I lost my bag on the bus once and they were no help at all. Some of the drivers don't talk and totally ignore you if you say hello when getting on the bus. I've seen them drive past bus tops even when there are people waiting there, the driver was going too fast to stop. There are though some really good drivers among them. The buses don't start early enough I work in Ivanhoe and sometimes start early, but there are no 471 buses until 6.42am so I walk the 30 minutes to the Sunshine Station.
