Our 15-year-old evaporative cooler had been playing up, and we had Matt come to take a look at it, along with our even older ducted gas heating system. Matt was reliable, professional, knowledgeable, personable, and honest. After taking care of the issues, he took the time to explain things and gave us sound advice regarding our aging systems. Really happy with the level of service recieved.Matt took ample photos to show us the extent of the issues. Talked us through the cost, pros and cons of fixing our 17yr old system that hasn't seen much love over the years.In the end we decided to replace. The new install ended up not needing a new pipe and Matt was honest about it and deducted the cost from the invoice.I also appreciated that he was punctual. It is now one year on since Matt and his team removed a 1994 Braemar ducted gas heating unit in my home and replaced it with a new Brivis 5-star unit. Matt initially turned up to assess the work after I heard mini explosions in the roof space when the gas heating was turned on (leaking gas igniting). Matt assessed the existing unit, discussed options and quoted on a new system. On installation day the Brindabella Gas team turned up on a bitterly cold June morning and worked hard to install the unit, replace part of the existing ducting and upgrade the thermostat. I'm happy to report a year on that the Brivis unit has worked like a dream with no issues and am again appreciating its effectiveness at keeping the Canberra chill out. Matt is a true professional, friendly, courteous, easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable about gas heating systems. I will be booking Brindabella Gas & Plumbing for any future work and can highly recommend to anyone looking for a reputable organisation to install a gas heating system.

For the past few years I have been in contact with Matt from Brindabella Gas to service our heater or fix any issues before winter. Matt is always quick to respond, I can always get the service done quickly and I usually leave a key out for him to complete the work even if we aren't home - I have always found him completely trustworthy. Amazing professional and efficient service. Matt was friendly and reliable and fixed my 25 year old Vulcan gas heater easily while other businesses had told me it needed to be completely replaced, saving me well over $2000. It was a real pleasure to deal with Matt at Brindabella Gas. I booked online for a service for our gas fireplace. Online booking was easy and I knew straight away the cost of the service (the estimate and cost were consistent). Matt came when he said he would. The service call went smoothly, Matt was extremely efficient and cleaned up well after himself. We needed a new switch which Matt had to source as our heater is over 10 years old. He kept in touch with me via text to let me know what was happening and replaced the switch last week. He didn't charge me till this had all been complete.
