Great first home buyer experience.

Me and my husband just brought a house and land package with tick homes a few months ago, and it has been the easiest experience ever! From the moment we walked in the door meeting michael to ending with bessi. They are all about no BS and its true they are straight to the point and have made every step as easy as it comes! Couldnt asked for a better group of people to answer my a million and one questions i pest them with, to making our dream house a reality, they truley are the number one house company out there!!!!!

The friendliness of the staff and financial options for entering the housing market were very enticing and attractive.As soon as we had signed though, communications became more distant and less detail orientated. The process itself turned to hell as the land valued very very far below what we had been charged.From there, once we battled through the financials, the building process became a nightmare. Our third-party building inspector picked up numerous small issues, and even several major issues ON EVERY STAGE of the build. We assusmed the builder would do a good job, and be even more diligent as they knew a third-party inspector would be checking the details. This was not to be the case. Even with written evidence and references from the third-party inspector.The building quality was rushed and far below what we would have expected from a new home.The sub-standard building practices were everywhere. From the slab being unlevel (and not repaired), earth wires not placed in slab for showers, walls and framing out of pluimb. Through to the less serious but just as important, not painting areas above eye level as they thought they could get away with it, not cutting the concrete right in the garage so the door would close properly, ill-fitting doors throughout the home, and almost every panal of glass installed had atleast some level of scratches that were obvious in most angles of light.Definitely would not recommend. And anyone who has built with them recently, I would get an outside inspection done so you can file a report before your warranty period expires.

The concept is great unfortunately we couldn't get straight answers from them about pricing etc. Waste of time no better than dealing with any other Volume builder.

Tick homes are one of the few industry awarded developers. The crew are friendly and pretty amazing to deal with! And their design is functional, but their finish are high quality compare to most other builders.
