After much planning and with the help of Rob and his crew at Blackdoor we have just moved into our beautifully renovated and extended home. We were introduced to Rob through our architects at Altereco and on our first meeting, felt he was the person for the job. Rob saw potential issues with our design that other builders didn’t and offered cost effective, stylish and innovative solutions to address them. I was comfortable asking him those dumb non-builder questions and felt my opinions was valued and considered.Blackdoor has established relationships with quality local trades and craftspeople who not only produced excellent work for us, but also contribute to the smooth running of our project. I appreciated being able to speak directly to them and was encourage to contribute to the design and problem solving process along the way.Rob has a real eye for detail and I was told a number of times by various trades that he was very particular. As someone doing their first renovation and feeling very much like a babe in the woods, I found this comforting.Our home was finished on time, with minimal cost blow outs and is even more beautiful than I could have hoped for. I would certainly use Blackdoor again.

Rob brought our dream to reality! An incredibly reliable professional with a fantastic team who were always on time, friendly, knowledgeable and neat in their work.
