Discovery Parks - Biloela

Great service, large caravan sites and the private ensuites are just amazing. Big and clean! The pool is perfect. Just the right temperature to cool down without it freezing you to death. All in all a great place to stay.

Very nice park. Not easy to find though. All caravan sites are with an ensuite. Reasonably priced. Lovely pool. Workers relatively quiet leaving for work in morning. Pleasant atmosphere.

Geared around workers accommodation, but our powered ensuite site was good. The ensuite was spotless and roomy.Pool could be heated as it’s under shade cover and freezing. Camp kitchen… still looking for that.Pleasant walking distance to shops and staff were friendly.

Clean poweted site with ensuit. Very roomy and plenty of warm water with good pressure TV reception and Internet very poor quality even using supplied TV aerials could not get stable picture

This park is really a workers camp first and foremost. Mgt and staff are helpful and amenities are very clean, but don't expect a quiet and relaxing stay. If you like to 'sleep in' or enjoy a quiet early morning coffee listening to nature, forget it. Resources sector workers yelling out and many 4WD vehicles with blazing lights before dawn as they head off to work, frozen goods truck parked for quite a while with refrigeration running while delivering goods at 6.30 in the morning, so many workers cars coming and going well into the evening. The parks website is misleading in that it lists a restaurant as a feature, but it is actually a dining room with hot buffet only for worker types, not travellers. There is signage erected to this effect. I think the park is overpriced even with member discount, given the circumstances, but is otherwise fine for one or two nights and is within an easy walk of town for pub, supermarket, cafe etc.

I wouldn’t normally rate a caravan park, but I’ve become a regular here and I’m really impressed with how easy it is to get quick repairs done. I’ve had the usual such as no hot water, shower head falling off, and even locked my key inside. In every situation, action and assistance was given with a genuine kindness and care. I really appreciate it. The dinners at the kitchen are usually pretty decent as well. Breakfast has never blown me away though, but Simmons Bakery in town will always hit the spot.

Here working night shift, forget about trying to get any sleep. Noisy mowing and whipper snipping all day every week right out front of room

Can park is set up for mining workers. Traffic in/out is relentless. Not suitable for families. Unsafe for small children and Too much traffic noise to sleep well or feel like it’s a holiday park. Positives- Bbq area is large and good. Clean amenities.

A great van park. Staff helpful and friendly, sites a good size, and all sites had ensuite amenities! Near the highway but very quiet. Nice clean pool and park very tidy. Woolies just up the road and quite central to town. We will definitely stay again if in the area!,
