Loved the Burger service was so good No IT WAS Great.1st time to the Cape we expected things to be pricey. Don't have a problem with that long way to cart things. Be good when the road works are finished.

I can't say enough about the friendliness of all the staff there. Their Roadhouse Burger is to Die for and it's huge. Fantastic spot to take a rest and have something to eat as you are on the way north to the Cape or heading back.Great food and it's licensed. I stop in 2 or 3 times a week in my truck.

Donger style accommodation. That I stayed in there us other style. Food and atmosphere was good.

Stopped here - first thing I noticed was the sign at the front that says don’t use the amenities unless you buy something. Most people who stop would respect this without being told. Went to buy something though but ice cream freezer was empty. Pie warmer also empty. We filled up at Musgrave so didn’t need fuel. Probably skip this place on the way back.

We only stopped here for fuel and a lunch break food was lovely ... however the older lady had well had enough of tourists I heard her say loud and clear to a local roadworker bring on the wet season twice over... she did not enjoy the tourists there or the businesses of the place clearly ... sad really we love coming to new places and spending our money in local businesses but i won't ever go back and once roads are sealed and we don't need to stop in at places like this I don't think many will stop here .... maybe she was having a bad day as we all do who knows

Rooms are clean and tidy, however, no ensuite. There are only 4 motel rooms.Basic meals at roadhouse, however, the Archer burger is good. If you're camping there's lots of space.

The road house hasn't really opened for the dry season but the sites and amenities are very good.

We stopped overnight here on our way to and back from the tip.Rooms are very comfortable, except no toilet or bathroom in rooms. Shared toilet and bathroom for the 4 rooms. Both are very clean. The food was great. We both had Tbone steak with salad. $45 each. Nice eating area. A lot of people camping around the roadhouse. Nice creek, in walking distance.Staff were friendly.Great place for a stopover.
