Popped in for lunch. Very tasty meals. Good service. Only half a serve of waffles was left, so they added a pancake instead (which is normally for the kids). There was no berry coulis as listed on the menu, but there were berries scattered with maple syrup. Still very tasty. Will be back.

The place is beautiful, with three different areas to eat, one of them in the backyard. The staff, mainly waiters, are super friendly.The coffee is great and the “Mr Benny” tastes really nice, however, the eggs was too cooked for a poached eggs (it makes me a bit disappointed).I hope to return there with another nice experience and get the numbers of stars raised.

My partner and I have been coming here since 2019 and have been regulars since our first visit, but as of late we have been extremely disappointed and don't think we will be returning. The vibe has been extremely boring the last few meals here, and the food much about the same. Portion sizes have dramatically reduced, and quality of the food and staff have gone down even more. There seems to be a massive lack of interest from the staff, consistently missing items from our order, making us wait 15 minutes before taking our order. To top it off, our poached eggs may as well have been boiled, they were hard and dry, and the bruschetta is overloaded with dry onion and the tomatoes were extremely dry.We really enjoyed coming here, but have been repeatedly disappointed. We hope things change, because Benny and Me is becoming no better than Coffee Club.

Pleasing cosy but modern interior, good team of staff working together, affordable specials, good vegetarian options.We had the veg big brekky and it was really nice. Coffees were smooth. Will return :)

Booked a table for 5 inside for my wife's birthday. After arrival, we we're told we could sit either outside the back or front of the Cafe, then waited & waited before having to go in & ask for menus. Food good when it arrived, but not pleased to be out in cold at a table for 4 when we booked inside for 5

The food was delicious and the coffee was very nice, so good I ordered a second one to go. However, my friend and I waited quite a while for service and also for our food, the staff were friendly nonetheless. Would come again.

Great little place just by Essendon station. Decent space with a nice atmosphere inside and out.Ordered the Mr. Benny with pulled pork and some extras on the side with a coffee. Service was great and the food was excellent.Well priced too for a breakfast place on the weekend!

Benny and Me for coffee and lunch. Lots of staff on hand meaning your not waiting around to order. Food was good quality and nice, well presented.Lots of seating, two outdoor areas (courtyard and out the front in the street) and three indoor rooms of seating.Take away options and lunch species too.

We have been coming here for the past few years, the food is really outstanding, staff is amazing and overall experience is really fantastic. We have been to some high end cafes as well but we find ourselves coming back to Benny& Me , its just warm, friendly, reasonably priced and just a family atmosphere. Thanks Ben and the staff for looking after us as ever with a big smile. Some great gluten free options too.
