Hit and miss. Deli staff personable, sticking good orifices inc some European items...but othereise tired and sad inside. Meat section terrifying. Avoid online shopping as they deliver just 50% of what you order

They have most grocery items in stock and have friendly staff and 8am to 8pm opening hours are great

Great prices, plenty of choice, nice clean store. I live a fair way away, and travel there to get my shopping.

This used to be a very good IGA with a lot of variety of products, however they seem to be scaling back what they sell. It's not surprising that they end up cutting back on things and have staff that don't really care when you consider some of the people that enter the store. Blatant shoplifting and abusive people that shop here just grind down even the happiest of humans. It's a shame that the trash that walk in and out cannot respect themselves let alone others otherwise this would still be a great place to shop. I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with such bottom dwellers.

Clean, tidy well maintained shop. All the areas were well lit and reasonably full. Staff was friendly and cooperative. Outside was very dull and dark but having said that it was almost closing time.

Nice layout and with fresh fruit and vegetables

The staff are friendly and there is always enough staff at the checkouts. The fruit and veggies were reasonably priced with great specials. Tomorrow is Mother's Day, huge choices of flowers to choose from.

I bought a Browns 500ml Light Sour Cream from Girrawheen IGA and after putting it on my whole families meal we discovered that it was off and tasted fizzy on out tongues. It still had around 3 weeks shelf life according to the use by date so I returned to IGA to get a replacement. When I told them I've just thrown about $30 worth of meals out because of this I was told with quite a bit of attitude 'There's nothing I can do about that' by the girl at the returns desk. She then said 'we have had problems with products from suppliers before' infering it is the fault of Browns Dairy. This is far from the first time I have had products, especially from their meat/dairy department, that has been off. This is unacceptable from whom ever is at fault as this is a health risk. Either IGAs fridges aren't at the legally required temperature and/or they are re packaging old meat with new use by dates. My kids have been complaining of nausea starting about an hour from ingesting this so I will be taking this further with The Department of Health. You should be shut down immediately! This is disgusting!!!!
