Poor customer service.

We went into this store and what a change from the hard sell tactics of shonkier competitors. We were free to browse about without being hassled, yes they had the items we wanted in stock, yes it could be delivered for free, and most amazingly I did not know this, Lazy boy chairs come apart - you can move them about easier in two halves- God send for tight corners or moving chair upstairs or just less stronger ppl .. lovely young man, the Parade business has been there as a family store for 40 years. Pop in you will be shocked by the service provided. Because we ordered standard items we only had to wait 7-10 days not 7-10 weeks. Nice.

Oh yes love there La- Z-Boy chairs i just had to have one, its a rocker also real good make so i have been back to have a sofa made.

I’ll never buy from them again. Bought a recliner but always thought the releasing spring mechanism was too sudden. My persistent concerns with store and HQ were dismissed as being the result of my flooring (concrete) amplifying the noise of the spring action. I hardly used the chair after that. A few years later the wooden sub-frame surrounding the mechanism broke in half. Being a lifetime warranty a serviceman came out to replace it and declared that the mechanism wasn’t fitted properly and was out of alignment thus overstressing the action eventually breaking the frame. Once he refitted everything it worked perfectly, and how I’d expected it to. I shouldn’t have had to endure years of frustration - very poor customer service.Edit: Thanks for the reply, but Angus was the one who left me frustrated in the first place. Nice try. It was fixed five years after purchase only because it broke in two as a result of the issue I’d complained about - but nothing done to help me other than advice on how to get out of the chair differently!

Good quality and service

Placed a order for 2 chairs in February -March -April-May-June - July ????? still waiting and can not get a delivery DATE. NOT VERY GOOD !!!!
