After driving over 2000 km just to visit this iconic pub discovered a Time Machine…. A amazing atmosphere, the spirit of a authentic Australian pub… Frank and Debbie are the most amazing people you can find… they explain everything about the pub history, the movie, local history and more… other patrons helped us enjoy the experienceFun banter, lots of photos and highly recommend everyone to help them keep this pub alive… will be back soon

Great owners history plus and have original Strops truck from movie here and it still runs.Dropped in for a rest and coffee.Can stay here to in campground.

This is a gem in the middle of all the dry. Stop, take a refreshing drink and rest. The owners are very welcoming. You'll never know who you'll meet.

An awesome place to stay, the staff are really friendly, they love a chat. The food is delicious & the camp site is great, clean & hot showers. We have been there a couple of times now, would always stay there if back that way again.

Power and water, pet friendly caravan sites at rear. Owners Frank & Deb are fabulous hosts. Had a great stay. Highly recommended

Haha what a great place to visit Danielle and her partner along with her mum and dad run the pub. Beer was icy cold Tucker was good and the vibe very friendly. If your an Aussie you've got come and visit this pub.

I stopped in because first my first time around aus it was close this but it wasn't this time so I took pics and soaked up the surroundings and all there's is to see inside looks really cool

Didn't realise this pub was where it is. We drove into town, used the toilets and dump point and looked across the road. Just had to pop in for a look around, beer and photos. Friendly staff and cold beer. Great.

Great memorabilia at this pub. A bit disappointed that we couldn't buy a t-shirt all sold out. Great cold drinks. Friendly barman. Not much else to see in McKinlay.

We stopped off on the way from Kynuna to Mt. Isa. It's a quaint little pub with some of the old memorabilia from the days of filming Crocodile Dundee. Also has some photos from back then, but they have faded quite a bit now. It's nice for a stop off and a quick drink. There's also camping near there.
