Fantastic location, so close to everything. The miniature donkeys, cows and ducks make it extra special too. Clean and tidy accommodation. Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Herons Rise and can’t recommend it highly enough. Conveniently situated for exploring the area, peaceful and homely and very comfortable. Hosts were accommodating and forthcoming with great local tips and places to visit. A real gem!

A little gem of a find in Kettering. The wine loft is spacious yet cosy, with warm wooden floors and a very effective fireplace. An excellent perch above the resident cows and donkeys, with views across to the channel. Helen is also a very welcoming host! Look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful place to stay right near the Bruny island ferry. We stayed in the Wine Loft and the views and house were stunning. The hosts were lovely and had thought of every little detail including cot/gate for our little one, an 'inhouse supermarket' for those relaxing nights in and lovely toiletries.

Nice place, but didn’t feel very welcome. 15 minutes late to checkout as I was unwell, and got the cold shoulder.

Stayed in the wine loft. Accommodation, setting and hosts all excellent. Great launchpad for local attractions like Bruny Island Tours.

We absolutely loved our stay at Herons Rise Vineyard! It was our favourite accommodation on our trip around Tasmania. The little cottage that we stayed in was so private and comfortable. Helen (new owners) stocked our fridge with the most delicious foods for breakfast and we were so delighted by the personal touches she added to make our stay even more special.The only regret we had was only staying one night! On our next trip to Tassie we will definitely be back to stay longer. Being so close to Hobart and other beautiful towns, this is a great place to base yourself for a few days.Do yourself a favour and stay here, you won't regret it. Peaceful, comfortable and a special place to stay. Thank you Helen for having us and we can't wait to come back!

We stayed in the studio for two nights and had a great time unwinding and learning about the property. I would recommend to anyone needing a getaway.
