Excellent service and very friendly staff and the mayor of the Mackay Regional Council should be very proud of his staff

If google allowed negative stars i would put them in. Customer sevice level of some staff are really poor and rude. They have to take a leaf out of brisbane city council. Please train your staff as your rates are not cheap either.

To the Mackay Regional Council.Who is paying you to stop people having beehives? Are you MAD ? You're going to end up like America - no bees - end of life! Or are you too stupid to realise that we need bees to pollinate plants. We do NOT WANT people who are in with companies like MONSANTO telling us what we can and cannot do - Everyone ought to have their own beehive in their gardens. You are irresponsible or being bribed by someone ... SUE ME! YOU FOOLS. I cannot believe you are so ignorant to stop people having beehives in their gardens and clean unadulterated pure honey from their bees. It's a learning experience and a healthy life CHOICE... You are SHAMEFUL to prevent anyone wanting to have their own bees. You are SHAMEFUL to tell this family in your area to close up their hives. A disgrace - !!! Gina Lee!!!!!

I would strongly suggest that people invest in a different location as this council and its road works refuses to accept responsibility for there actions especially anyone who gets the car damaged on there roads ,they sit on there backsides and do nothing, they are responsible for $3,000 damage to my car and they refuse to do anything about it (Patrick Aprile) there are better places in Australia to visit than waste your money in the Whitsunday area ,the roads works are a nightmare, windscreens get damaged because of the roads aswell as bollards in the middle of the road, Whitsunday is over rated and very expensive with rates, building regulations and generally everything is over priced, don't waste your money and time to visit the area as you will be disappointed, tourists should look elsewhere for a better experience of Australia and why invest in a place that will charge you a fortune for rates and services Whitsunday Regional Council isn't worth the money and time go elsewhere and be happy

Fantastic service this morning when the crew came to fix our water meter after someone ran over it..very much appreciated

Both my husband and I have just had the most exceptional professional service from Mackay Regional Council. We would publicly like to thank Andrea Thayer, Stakeholder and client Support Officer for her excellent customer service and for the fact that she really cared about us as rate payers. It makes us proud to be part of this wonderful community.
