I just paid $19 for lamb that he wanted to charge me $30 for !! When I highlighted the price difference, he got upset rude claiming the others are inferior - 5#!t (verbatim) quality.Interesting technique to growing customer and service.First and last time I go there.

Such a great place to buy fresh organic, hormone free meat & poultry. Staff are wonderful & polite. Shopped there for many years. Well worth a visit.

My family and I have been going to By the Bay meats for a few years now and their quality and consistency is nothing but fantastic. The staff are always friendly and helpful with their smiles. Their prices are excellent with a huge amount of variety. Thanks guys for all your service & consistency over the years. The other review that said they put their prices up is absolutely ridiculous. The mince at this butcher is hugely better quality than Coles & Woolies at a very competitive price range if not about the same. 5 stars all the way!

Zero stars, been in ramsgate for 25 years and have seen many owners of By The Bay Meats. Current owner Noel only seems to want to cut costs and charge top dollar. High turnover of unskilled cheap labour at the counter and a considerable drop in quality of meat. Chicken legs broken in half, shards of bone everywhere completely uneatable. Chicken skewers with honey and soy nothing but thigh fat, sinue with a little meat on the side. Really disappointed knowing the strong history of By The Bay Meats. Good luck Noel I'm done.
