Hit and miss dishes.Omelette was fantastic, Singapore noodles was a huge serving, but wasn't as good as spruced up DIY mi goreng. The garlic beef tasted good but was tough and stringy, fried rice was pretty meh. And the spring rolls were absolutely terrible, but I had meant to get veg spring rolls, so I might just hate meat spring rolls.The sauce on the honey chicken was possibly sweet and sour, but the chicken itself was possibly the best part of the meal. Would compare it to smaller pieces of schnitzel.Cheaper than Hock's Wok, and cooked in under half an hour compare to a 90 minute wait for Hock's, but can absolutely see why Hocks is the place to be and has such a long wait within 20 minutes of opening.Attached the menu because nobody seems to have bothered before, and good luck figuring out what they sell if you call to order. They do not print menus you can take home. This print out is the only written record of what this place sells, and this appears to be the only online copy.Bonus points given now that they offer EFTPOS.

Sun Wah is the best Chinese restaurant in the area, fast service and provide excellent value.

The best honey chicken by far a country mile - finally a Australian-Chinese restaurant that doesn't serve that horrible battered, soggy mess that passes for honey chicken!Great value for money, large serving sizes, and very short waiting times.

We love this place. Great food great service and best of all everyone in the house loves the menu.I especially love the crumbed honey chicken and fried rice

Food was very poor ,fried rice smoke flavor Mongolian lamb was disappointing on every level that much chilli in it burned your mouth & throat 4 adults couldn't eat it so will not be returning , they even charge $3 for sauce to be separated for sweet sour pork will not be going back again they have sign that said no refund no exchange so I will just be warning everyone i know just gp elsewhere

Don't be fooled by the faded exterior and the budget looking menu. I tried this place after my Dad recommended it, he's worked in Maitland for 30 years. It was the best Chinese I've had in a year of living in Maitland. The price was really good, the food was great. Got a pepper chicken and it was one of the best chicken dishes I've had from a Chinese restaurant. Peking beef was amazing. Portions were very generous.
