These guys, particularly Adrian, are fantastic. Hired a bunch of splitboards from him for our first back country trip with the family. High quality Jones boards, skins, poles... the whole kit and a full walk through before we left shop so we knew what to do. Had an awesome few days, kids absolutely loved it. Some of the best and fresh turns in the past 20 years of riding. If you want to try splitboarding, get in there to see them!!Awesome range of clothing, boots and all the gear you could need.

This place is excellent. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. My boots have troubled me for a long time due to wide feet pinching at the side. With new socks, insoles, and stretching of the boot shell they now fit perfectly. I’m finally able to wear them all day without pain and numbness.The vegan banana bread was also great. Do yourself a favour and go to the pros if you need to buy or fit boot.

I really like the way the salespeople served myself and my family. The knowledge of the staff and the ability to communicate was extremely good. I found their pricing to be and extremely competitive. I bought my skis from them and would not hesitate to buy all my gear from them. I also like their coffee as well.

Bought my first new board and boots from here last season. Staff were helpful and Joey spent hours with me helping get a great boot fit. I was able to trial a rental board (same board just last years model) before buying with the rental of that board coming off my new board price.Board rental and tuning downstairs is good with these guys being really helpful in fixing my old board after I’d jibbed it on a rock. Also were able to give my board a “summer” wax at the end of the season as I drove back through town.Definitely recommend this shop for people needing kit for the snow season.

The ESSpresso cafe is awesome and a great idea. Coffee nice and toasties amazing and filling. Staff nice too. Also snow gear for sale!

Great service to our skis mounted this year. Got our bindings before coming but they offer a discount if you purchase the binding there.$100 each was pretty reasonable to us.They did an incredible job. Very well mounted no issues at all and was a next day pick up so a quick turn around.Sound out to Archie. He served us and was very personable and showed interest in our skis!Highly recommended

ESS Boardstore is the place to go for your boot fitting and any other snow related gear! The staff here are the most helpful and friendliest bunch in the whole retail industry. We refuse to shop in Sydney now with the terrible service. Mark and his team will go above and beyond to find you the right gear. Joey and Adrian fitted me up for my boots and custom souls and I couldn’t be more happier. My whole family shops here now. Definitely worth it!!!!
