Excellent day trip from Mount Isa. You will definitely need a 4wd as there are sections required especially after raining season. The falls only happen after the massive rain falls.Great mountain bike track for endurance rider who like to challenge themselves. If you are photo fanatic, great time to capture the waterfalls is around Feb or March. Make sure you do bring your drone with you for ariel view.There are three or four sections large rock pools, kids under 5 are not recommended as climbing the rock can be tricky.

Absolutely beautiful after some rain. The track in is mostly ok but there is one very rough hill, would not recommend to an inexperienced driver.

4x4 track to the falls can be tricky to inexperienced offroad drivers- always go with another car. It is more difficult to get out thab it is driving in. I have seen AWDs make the trip, but all have sustained damage- sumps cases, under body struts bent, etc.If you make the trip, in the 2 weeks after decent rainfall, you will be treated to 4 stunning water falls, with fantastic plunge pools for cooling off in.

Great place to swim and see some waterfalls if there's been any rain. Requires rain for water to be here, and lots of rain for it to flow. 4X4 access only. Not hard to find, drive to the carpark and walk the last 1ish km.
