Beachside hall with amenities. The John Batten Community Hall is an excellent venue for those looking to enjoy a day out at the beach. This hall offers a wide range of amenities, including ample parking space that is available for 24 hours. This means that visitors can park their vehicles without worrying about time restrictions, allowing them to fully enjoy their time at the beach. One of the standout features of this community hall is the free shower and toilet facilities that are available for use. These are clean and well-maintained, ensuring that visitors have a comfortable and hygienic experience while at the beach.A great perk IF they put a barbeque facilities for those looking to have a picnic or cook up some delicious food while enjoying the sea breeze. There is a kids' playground nearby, which is a fantastic feature for families with young children.Overall, the John Batten Community Hall is an excellent venue for anyone looking to spend a day at the beach. With its ample parking space, free shower and toilet facilities, and convenient location right in front of the beach and with a kids' playground, it offers everything visitors could need for a fun and enjoyable day out.

FREE PARK.I had some things to do for 2 days. I had no where to stay. I was told about this free park. I have an RV. So, it is not necessary to pay for a caravan park, when I have all facilities at hand. John Batten Hall is situated right on the Drummond's Cove beach. An ashfelt parking area.Good clean area to park.Dogs are allowed as long as you pick up any do do and bag it for the bin. Bins are provided. There is a small playground for kids, a skate jump. A BBQ on either side of the hall. Looking out to sea. A table and chairs under cover. Great place to stay. 24 hours stay.

It's for NON SELF CONTAINED vehicles only, it's rare that we get somewhere free to stay, so please don't stay if you are self contained.

We couldn't believe our eyes when we pulled up at this rest-stop as the beach is breathtaking, and was the most beautiful one we had seen on our road trip up from Perth.Toilets were very convenient, although slightly disappointed to see gentlemen visiting the ladies as they were the only toilets facilitated with showers.Slightly windy evening, although disappointed to be woken up at 3am to what I can only describe as youths driving on the beach shouting, in turn waking local dogs and the baby who was camping next to us.Also, the barbecue is no longer there and there were no bins in sight which was rather disappointing. Providing the overnight awakening was a one off, I would recommend staying here.

Brilliant place where campervans and overnight car and van stays are permitted for up to five vans. Toilets, showers for females and water. Beautiful beach but wild and windy when we visited
