Clean facilities, on time transport

Great service, clean coaches, reasonable prices ($30 for 1 adult and three kids for a trip from Devonport to Launceston, while taxi service quoted over $200). Only complaint is they need more regular services on the weekends and they could offer more routes eg; down to Stahan on the West Coast which is also a tourist destination.

Can't figure out where the bus leaves from. I called the general enquiries line to find out but the representative was extremely dismissive and rude and not very helpful.

I am on board a bus from Hobart to Launceston today - leaving Hobart, the temperature is at least 30+ degrees. A woman has organised to bring her dog on the bus, and it was stowed in a small, cramped cage beneath the bus with the luggage. As we lined up to board the dog whined and barked, clearly distressed out of its mind. When we disembarked, the bus driver made an announcement to not 'worry about the dog, a few minutes down the road and it would quiet down because it was dark'. Never have I seen such disregard for a living creature's well being. Would you treat a member of your family like this? It's not air-conditioned, complete darkness, hot and next to the engine. It had a tiny bowl of water which no doubt was tipped over as soon as we pulled away from the terminal. Disgusting that Redline allowed this to happen. I am currently writing this from my bus seat and am appalled. Never again am I travelling with Redline, and I will actively encourage people to choose an alternative if they come to Tasmania.

I was waiting for this bus at Devonport waiting lounge from last 2 hours and the bus didn’t even wait for few minutes at the stop, which was horrendous and when I called their helpline, instead of being polite they were like it’s my fault since I was not waiting exactly at that stop. MY ONLY FAULT WAS I WAS CARRYING EXCESS BAGGAGE SINCE I’M MOVING FROM MELBOURNE. So, now I have to wait for eight more hours, since they don’t have any other service until 5pm. Thank you guys for making my journey unpleasant and making me pay extra bucks for another booking. I will never book with them and hopefully they will learn how to treat their customers in future.

I call the customer service b4 9am this morning. I ask question, where to wait in burnie for the bus and what time the bus leave. She told me leave 10.30am and wait at quater pass 10. That is very wrong to tell me come late. When i arrived at 10.10am i call the customer service again and she told me the bus left. Now i got my flight to catch this late afternoon. I can't rebook another bus 2moro as i will miss my flight. Now i have to paid 300 for taxi to go to launceston. I want u to hear from them and i want them to hear the recording between me and the customer service. But the admin people said there might not be a recording between me and the customer service. Redline make me loose money and my life miserable. If u have another choice to travel avoid redline bus completely. I would this coming winter. I will use tassie link next time not redline if they won't resolve my problem.
