Box Hill Towing

Terrible experience and service. Do NOT use. The tow truck driver would not tow the vehicle to my house unless I paid upfront, despite me providing my comprehensive covered insurance claim number. So I allowed them to take my vehicle to their facility which was the biggest mistake I could have made. Unfortunately insurance took a while to process the whole claim as the floods were occurring and car insurance was a lower priority then people’s homes. I kept the towing company updated the entire time. The storage costs went up and up and my lawyers tried to settle them but Box Hill towing would not accept. The insurance tried to pay them but they would not accept. For the past few months, they have been messaging me the same message, advising of the rising storage fees because they will not accept the exceptional circumstances that have occurred. They wouldn’t even allow me to take off my plates to the vehicle without paying for the storage upfront. I have tried to be reasonable and responded every time they have contacted me but now it is borderline harassment because I look like a young, impressionable girl and it’s not acceptable.

Mandy from Customer Service was very professional and a delight to deal with and she organised the pickup of my vehicle with the driver Eagan. He was also great, winched my vehicle & secured it safely and delivered it without a scratch. He then helped me unload it into my driveway. They were both great. I would recommend this company highly to anyone.
