My advice is don't! Unfortunately, Deborah's knowledge of the Taxation system is poor. When I asked for information about selling a investment property and therefore the tax implications she said she would have to find out" and "that would be extra" and sent me a form which could only be completed after the property was sold. She made incorrect assumptions about me instead of asking the questions she should of . I was dealing with a number of things which prevented me from finding a new accountant at the time and I am now stuck with an enormous tax bill.Update.In answer to Deborah's answer I first approached her PRIOR to putting the investment property to market. She was not interested in discussing the pro's and cons of selling. She just sent me the form which of course could not be filled in until a sale had gone through ."
