Great food with personalised services. The student waiter for our table was polite, attentive and friendly. He overheard our visit was for my birthday, later I got a cute and personal happy birthday message written in the chocolate sauce, very touched. All the best to all students that night, we really enjoyed the food and hospitality.

GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRYThe Angliss Restaurant is the training home" for hospitality students. It is part of the large William Angliss College complex which also offers a smaller cafe

Had a dinner here, had sirloin steak for main and peanut butter mousse for dessert. Steak cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. Mousse texture was velvety and smooth. I couldn't complain for the price they charge and food quality they are offering.Oh, wine selection was great as well!Service could be better. Some of the staff which are students, were nervous and seems confused at times while serving us. But it's forgivable.Overall, recommended. Great way to support for the hospitality industry and different dining experience.

I enjoy eating at the Angliss Restaurant, the food is always amazing and while it’s all a training exercise for the students of the William Angliss School, the service is usually pretty good! A good way for a five star dining experience on a budget.

I wasn't sure what to expect from our planned dinner at the Angliss restaurant at William Angliss College. Right from the very first moment of arriving it was a fun experience. The Angliss restaurant is a training restaurant for the culinary leaders of the future. Staffed entirely by students there is a certain buzz in the air as the students work hard to put their learnings to practice under the eagle eye of their teachers. Each table has an assigned waiter who ensures that your dining experience will be good. The high diner-to-waiter ratio might be a little intimidating for some but it ensures that you get very attentive service. The menu is select but includes some very tempting dishes such as salmon and scallops for entree, steak and barramundi four main and some delicious options for dessert. The wine list is excellent and there is a selection of very good cocktails on offer I tried the old fashioned which is probably one of the best old fashioneds I have had in Melbourne. It's definitely worth a try for something different. Bookings are essential. And you are sure to be surprised by the excellent value for money. Congratulations to William Angliss for providing such a unique experience right in the heart of Melbourne.

Average food, drinks and service. Staff very friendly but due to them learning how to wait on tables things do get missed and forgotten. I would however return in the future to try a different menu.

We had the buffet lunch here, and the food was delicious. The service was exceptional, from the table service to the chefs preparing the different meals. It was daunting at first seeing all the students lined up against the wall all around the restaurant, but it must be a great experience for them as they train for hospitality and food preparation. I highly recommend this experience.
