We needed a building report to supply to both our insurance company and our new builder as our original builder has unfortunately gone into liquidation. I called several companies and was told they were either unable to meet our requirements or would charge over 2K. Thankfully I found South West Property Inspections. Melanie and Micheal went out of their way to accommodate us and reassured me they could facilitate our requirements. They arranged an early morning inspection within 24 hours and spent several hours accessing our property. Micheal was thorough and took time to explain all the defects and outstanding work. His knowledge and obvious passion for what he does is outstanding. A thorough report was sent via e mail that afternoon. I am so impressed with the service, the detailed report, the fair price and the professional approach. South West Property Inspections have alleviated so much stress and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

South West did a fantastic job in inspecting our newly build home and spotted things we would have never noticed and they were very thorough in their findings. Can't recommend them enough!

During a difficult time in our build as there is difficult time in anyones build, my wife and I sought out assistance from an expert in this field.Unfortunately, due to events out of our control on the Friday with appliances unable to be installed, the inspector who came on the Monday stated that he would be unable to complete the inspection and we would have to organise an alternate time(which is fine).However, when we attempted to call and reschedule we spoke with Melanie, who was completely unsympathetic towards the situation we were currently in and explained more about how she was have a tough time as well instead working with us to achieve a desired outcome. She held on to our deposit and if we wanted to complete the inspection we would then need to pay a further 50%.So I am at a loss, with their inspector informing me that the job could not be completed yet we have still paid for a service that this client was aware that we were only one day into the move.

We got the inspection performed for Pre-Lining Inspection" stage of our new house construction. Kurt did an outstanding job in performing the review and capturing the details! The inspection report is very exhaustive with good quality pictures. The pictures of the roof were also captured brilliantly! The report gives us great confidence on the build quality. We would be using South West Property Inspection for other build stage inspections too. We would also be recommending SWPI service to others!"

I found South West recommend on Facebook so gave them a go. Very easy to deal with and took the time to explain the process to me. The detail in the report was outstanding (they even flew a drone over the house to take photos). Highly recommended.

Thanks to Melanie for working so hard to schedule us in to their busy week. Thanks to all the inspectors who came to the place over the course of our build, Michael, Kurt and Mark. They were always polite and helpful when I needed clarification on things outlined in the reports.

Very impressed and happy with SoutWest. From our initial contact and ongoing contact with Melanie booking inspections and how quickly we receive our reports (within 24hrs) from SouthWest. So many photos in the reports (love the drone shots) to help us understand the build but not overwhelmed with the technical jargon. We will continue to use SouthWest and recommend them as well.
