Unfortunately the Sportsman Ck canoe" trail is currently a muddy river through degraded cattle wasteland. Woody and Reedy Creeks are brown soup filled with noxious salvinia. The kayak launch spot is a 30 degree slope into 1/2m deep mud. The weir is jambed with debris so more water is coming in than out. However this is a sanctuary for birds and that is all that matters."

We have some property here and it is stunning with Jabirus that visit frequently for nesting and raising their young.

Cant believe how beautiful this river side is so quite and peacfull great for familys.Awesome fishing with flathead, bass, perch brim etc.Mosquito are not to bad either dome rid or citronella keeo them a tg bay.Lovely place for holiday
