O'Grady Drama - Brisbane North

I loved coming here for a few years. When I started youth group, the other students were rude to me (typical teenagers). My confidence didn’t grow. I had to run and cry in the bathroom. Teacher would scream at the students. I wouldn’t recommend this academy, but each to their own

I enrolled my daughter aged 11 years in OGrady Drama to increase her confidence and gain a love of acting. She loves attending her weekly classes and enjoyed the experience of acting in the end of year performance ."

Knowing my son enjoyed drama I signed him up for a trial class, although he completely protested. After his first lesson he came out beaming, absolutely loving the class and has happily attended all year. I like that he is working on skills he enjoys in a relaxed environment with local, friendly staff.

My son Cohben attended the program from 1995-2000 he was 5 when he started, he thoroughly enjoyed his time there learning new skills and making friends. His teacher Margaret was very professional and patient with the children. I loved watching Cohben do his productions, very rewarding, lots of great memories.

O'Grady Drama is the best. I've been going since I was six. Annika is very cool :)

I highly recommend this wonderful Drama School. My daughter has loved being apart of it and has learnt many positive skills.

I highly recommend this program. Margaret and Anika are fantastic teachers and bring out the very best in all the children they teach. Whether your have outgoing children who need to channel their enthusiasm or shy children who need to build their confidence, the class structure caters for the needs of all. It is also an opportunity for making friends. The mid year performances and end of year concerts are designed so that every child is involved. My children have participated for over 5 years and are now extending themselves further in Youth Theatre. They both love the classes and would recommend them to anyone who might be interested.Drama classes are more than just the performances: my children have developed the skills and confidence to speak in front of others, essential in today's school curriculum, and will hold them in good stead, moving into the future for job interviews etc.

I attended the O’Grady academy many years ago (around 2001) and it was amazing! I found that I got a lot of my self confidence through the academy, made a lot of friends and really enjoyed the end of year plays we got to do :) definitely recommend!

My daughter has a lot of fun at O'Grady drama. She enjoys performing and speaking in front of an audience. I love that the children learn, grammar and projection of the voice. I recommend this drama academy for a shy or a confident child.
